Hi fellow crafters! I am trying desperately to finish off last minute Christmas projects and need some advice on a few matters
1. Have you done etched casserole dish with the last name? Could anyone share the font that they used? I'm not sure what would look good
2. I got a bunch of old (unused) coke bottlecaps and want to make them into magnets. Does anyone have idea on something to use to fill in the back of them so that the magnets sticks out enough?
3. Can you sand mod podge? I made some mod podge canvases and one of them has an area with a thick/messy looking brush stroke. Wondering if there is a way for me to fix that.
Thanks so much for your help! I will PIP some finished projects here later ![]()
Re: Looking for advice for etched casserole dish and other projects
1. I've only used cricut fonts. You really can't go wrong though!
2. Could you just do several layers of hot glue?
3. Yes but sand the hole thing then do another coat.

For #2, use double-sided sticky foam dimensional dots - maybe they are called "pop dots"? The ones at Joann's are thick and work well with magnets that I bought at the hardware store. Just the right thickness to fill the cap and make the magnet stick out enough. You can always stack two if you need them to be thicker.
Here's a picture of the dots.
