Okay, let's celebrate what is going well in your life, even if the only positive is that you had five minutes to enjoy your cup of coffee!
Let's hear the good news!
Re: Good News Wednesdays!
My good news:
- I received a grant at work totallying ?45,900 which had a 40% chance of being funded, I am very pleased and so is my boss.
- Our fifth wedding anniversary is Friday!
Your turn!
Good news: I won a Macbook Air as a door prize at my work Christmas party last week:-)
Bad news: I'm giving it to my fianc? because his sony vaio just crapped out, but I like the Mac so much I'll probably end up buying myself another one....
Today has been an awesome day.
First, we got our quarterly electric bill and this is the 2nd quarter that they owe US money! The credit will come in handy next time since we've been running the A/C 24/7 for almost a week :-(
Second ... I got my new door installed! I've only waited a year for this to happen. It makes such a huge difference.
Now we just need to paint it white, hang the chandelier and get new chairs.
And it's been 56 days since I had a cigarette!
My good news is that it seems like Georgia is getting better. She's been sick for almost a week now - first croup, then some virus that caused lots of vomiting and diarrhea. Yesterday I was really worried about dehydration because she hasn't eaten anything in about 5 days and drinks very little. This morning though, she has already nursed 3 times! She still won't eat anything, but at least she's getting the liquid she need
Cecilia arrived 12 October 2012
YAY!
I just realized that since BIL is coming back home (which I biotched about in the Good Morning post) I won't have to walk the dog twice a day all on my own any more. Just as the weather is getting crappy, too. Score!
I'm going to a nice dinner and to the theatre to see The King and I with a girlfriend - our xmas presents for ourselves :-)
I only have 4 working days left after today before my break. Am really, really looking forward to it!

Eww, MCC. I majorly dislike your ExH. He's a tosser! (that's my new favorite word, btw)
My good news - H is feeling a lot better today so we MIGHT still get to go to his work Christmas party. That means I'll probably have to run out the day of the party and find something to wear. I'm crossing my fingers!
While DH went to his work Christmas party, I stayed home decorated Christmas cookies, listened to Christmas music and drank hot chocolate. It was so nice.
I am so close to finishing all of my shopping. The rest is all online purchases, so little effort on my big belly part.
I am close to having things sorted for when the baby comes. I am so worried she will come early. And I don't want that.
I had Starbucks Christmas blend coffee this morning. So good. No more caffine for a while.

DH walked the dogs for me around 1:30 after we took DD to get an ultrasound of her hip. This means I don't have to walk them the rest of the day unless DH gets home late from work. Score!
That's the best news of my day...
Although I thought my day was going to be spent driving 2 1/2 hours (5 hr round trip) to deal with my Aunt, my Uncle decided to finally help out for once so we are staying at home and I'm getting things done.
It's not like I don't want to help, but we are the only ones that EVER help her, and I'm glad that the rest of the family is starting to show some responsibility.

Ugh...what a grade A douchebag. I'm sooooo happy you are finally cutting all ties with him and you deserve so much better and to be so much happier than he ever made you my dear.
My good news: Our annual holiday party at a friend's house is this weekend. I get to see some friends who moved out of town before we moved back to the States. And I just got my early Hanukkah present from DH--a spanking new camera I have to learn how to use before the little guy comes so I can take a gazillion pictures of his chubby little cheeks.

Great prezi Sheckels!
Got a bit more good news today! Turns out that I have young ovaries with lots of follicles. So hopefully I'll be able to someday use them!
That's great news!
I love GNW
My last day of work was on Sunday. BF and I shared early Christmas with my family in Tampa. I received gift cards for Old Navy and LOFT and blew them out today. Meeting up with friends tonight for dinner at Hard Rock. Tomorrow morning, we're going on a hot air balloon ride (thank you, Groupon!) and then hitting the road for our epic expedition!
