Still Waiting, might be waiting in vain
So, I had an interview for a part-time position with a local city. The interview went very, very well. I thought at first I got it. So, I asked him, in the interview, when they would be making a decision about this position (he asked if I had any questions). They said last week. I know, through my mom who is on a city board, that he gave the names of the two chosen to the city commissioners. I still haven't heard anything and I don't want to be cocky and think I actually got it, but I am more than qualified and I would rock this job. I am so tempted to call, but I know that's bad form. It's quite possible that they haven't approved the two positions yet or are still hanging on to them. I just hope I got it.
