halfway through the work week! woo!
i didn't do much yesterday and it was fantastic. i napped, had h microwave some leftovers for me (and deliver it to the couch!). we watched a little bit of tv, then went back to sleep, it was wonderful.
i have an HOA meeting today and i'm dreading it. i'm the VP, and i'm going to be resigning very soon. i still can't decide when......now? after baby? when my term is up (april)?
i also had a registry-stalking-fail this morning. i was browsing my amazon registry and noticed something was purchased off of it. i got all excited and went to look at the "purchased" list, and saw that it was what i *just* ordered, less than 10 mins ago. fail.

Jenn - your nap day sounds fantastic. I would just love one of those.
I'm dragging this morning. H and I stayed up way too late watching the Biggest Loser finale. It was the most anticlimactic finale I've ever seen from them... IMO, the guy who won was a complete d-bag. But once it started we were sucked in.
I think H and I might venture over to the holiday lights display at the Bellevue Botanical Garden tonight. Tonight is their last free admission night of the season. I also need to squeeze in some form of a run after work... I'm technically running a 12k on Sunday, and I've been sick and haven't run in a week and a half... oops. Depending on how my run goes today, I may drop down to the 5k. Hopefully not, though.

Work has been soo busy, March can't come soon enough!
MerrileeKate: I also stayed up too late watching Biggest Loser, H was happy the season was done and we wouldn't have to stay up late for awhile. Little did he know, that the next season starts January 3rd! mwahahahahaha
I didn't hate John, I think he was kinda douchey with the game playing, but he wanted to win, so he did what he had to do to win. His family seems really sweet, I hope they make good use of the money.
I think H and I will be having a date night tonight and will go out to watch The Descendants. It looks like a dark comedy, and should be pretty good (with good reviews, at least).

I also watched the biggest loser finally and think John is a d-bag. We'll see if he gains it all back like Bob said he would.
I have a coffee date today. Hoping to go for a run too. Race season is coming up fast! I hope I can do my usual distances. It is hard to train with baby karebear.

Good morning. So glad it's Wednesday. Been so busy lately. I spent all last night baking up a storm for my church cgroup potluck tonight. Candy cane vanilla cupcakes with a vanilla swiss meringue buttercream. I got a new piping tip and it makes me so happy! And then the second dessert will be a cranberry apple pie with pecans and whipped cream and vanilla bean ice cream.
We had a fantastic time SoCal for a wedding over the weekend, but between that and the last persistent remnants of a cold, I am so wiped.
H is mailing off my SS gift today!

Happy Wednesday everyone!
I'm not sure if I've come down with a cold or not, but I'm trying so hard to fight it because H and I have our nice weekend ahead of us and I don't want to be sick. Right now I have just a sore throat and a cough, and the sore throat goes away after I wake up so I'm hoping I can beat it by Friday / Saturday.
Not much going on today for me. I'm staying in and trying to rest up. I have to run a few errands (get shoes resoled) and need to find a dry cleaner that does same-day service because H has to have his blazer dry-cleaned for our dinner on Saturday night. I am excited because we are trying a great restaurant (French Laundry) in Napa that everyone raves about and it's been on my bucket list for years, and we have a gift certificate some friends gave us at our wedding as our wedding gift, so that will help pay for it / justify it.... so I just need this cold to go away so that I can enjoy it!
Also will be doing a lot of Christmas card addressing before I go to the gym this afternoon. Probably eating leftovers for dinner since H has his trainer this evening so I won't be waiting for him to eat.
I worked Monday for 2 hours and I work 4 hours today advising new students. It's a ghost town here so I've only worked with 1 student in nearly 2 hours. Luckily I brought a book, but I also have blog entries to write.
After I get off I have to head to Hallmark and get some Christmas and birthday cards for my neice and nephew and then I can send their Christmas/birthday box. I wrapped everything last night and got the box ready to go.
I'm off tomorrow and then shopping with Mom on Friday. I have 1 more gift card to pick up and I'd like to find one more thing for Mom, but I don't know what. Maybe I will be inspired!

it's my sister's last day in town, so I took the day off of work to hang out with her. we started the day with hot yoga, and then went to cafe presse for a late breakfast/early lunch. now we're going to go tanning, maybe get our nails done, then I'm doing a personal training session, then sushi for an early dinner before I drive her to the airport. love it.
back to work tomorrow though

Today has been pretty good. M has been pretty needy the last few days, and I think she's going through a growth spurt. She's sleeping a TON and eating more than she ever has. Also? I weighed her (as best I could) on our digital scale. She's about 15 pounds now!! We'll have to see how it compares with the doctor scale next month, but OMG. My child is huge!

It's Wednesday! Yay! I got off at 4, so happy to have an earlier work day. Now I'm watching How I Met Your Mother and eating McDonald's.
I was going to do some Christmas shopping this afternoon, but by the time 4 came around I had no energy to do anything.
DH went to the doctor to see why he's been sick so long. Hopefully it's not pneumonia, one of his co-workers had it, it would suck if he got it from her.
