Oh no! A friend just recently went through this with her daughter. They realized she was having trouble hearing and it turned out her adnoids were very enlarged and she had major fluid buildup in her eardrums. Removed the adnoids and put tubes in and all is well. I hope it's something relatively minor like that for Joshua too. Good luck!

Has this passed the ear tubes stage?
We have friends returning from expat assignments to the states because of profound hearing loss issues that aren't being addressed by the medical community where they're living now. They're confident that whatever the outcome, TCH will make available to them the best solution possible.
I hope your problem is easily addressed.
He has only had two ear infections in the last year, so the pedi doesn't think it's a "he just needs tubes" kind of thing. She said the ear it's self looks great.
