Reading the names, I must give kudos to your choices, ladies. I see no misplaced "y"s, no "Youneek" spellings or other things that make me nuts. Really, you all have good taste & I'm sure your children will thank you when they are older.

Re: Re: June 08 baby list
:takes a bow:
Thank you! Now if I'm ever blessed with another child I'll sprinkle in some extra y's just for you.
Eta: Just curious but do you mind sharing your hooves again. I'm remembering something Indian but I may be wrong.
Damn auto correct! I've had to edit this post a million times. Names not hooves. Lol
I agree, the June 08 babies have beautiful names!
I was actually thinking about you yesteday Anasara. How's your treatment progress? When is your IVF scheduled?
Asking to see her hooves?! That's very forward of you, Tiffany
I agree though - by and large all very normal names and the ones that are less ordinary aren't youneeklie spelled
LMAO @ hooves!
Girls: Aarti, Durga*, Saraswati (because it can be shortened to Sara which is easy for white people to say).
Boys: Arul, Kiran, Krishna
*Durga: this is by far my favorite but I kind of wonder if people would give me the side eye for it. It's not a super common name in India; I've only ever met 1 person named Durga & she's my mom's age. Durga is the goddess of the underworld. Her creation story is one of a great deal of waiting & pain. Her name literally means "after a great difficulty". So appropriate for us.
I will go on 3 weeks of BCPs when AF shows around 12/23. Then, I start stims. Should have ER/ET in mid to late January & find out if it worked or not in early February.
Hoping for your miracle!!
Our crazy, wonderful life
I love your name choices! I would pick Durga, but more for the meaning etc. Aarti, while very pretty makes me think of the Food Network show Aarti Parti
Performing the Durga puja is one of my strongest memories from my time in India. I don't remember exactly where we were, some place between Dehra Dun and Mussoorie - way in the north compared to your DH's family in the south.
Lots of T&P, baby dust etc for January!!!! I want to see some pictures with kohl!
I agree. We are very good at naming our children.
And, of course, I LOVE your name choices.

I like your names and I love the meaning behind Durga. I had a Vishal in class one year and he was one my favorite kids ever.
Good luck! I'll be thinking about you.
