Jeans

I'm having a hard time finding a pair of jeans that I love. So I'm curious. Where do you buy your favorite pair of jeans?

Re: Jeans

  • One of the malls by us just got one of those body scanner things that tells you what clothes will fit you best. I got Gap 1969 curvy bootcut jeans and they are amazing. Super comfy and flattering. They also recommended Joe's Jeans, but they are a bit out of my price range. :)

That body scanner sounds amazing. I wish we would get one!

I've heard good things about Gap jeans. I guess I should check them out! Thanks :)

  • Ann Taylor LOFT... petite curvy book cut. Although, this year I felt like the sizing had changed (I got a pair a couple weeks ago). I managed to find one pair, but I might end up having to exchange or return them.

I'm considering trying GAP jeans. I talked to an associate last time I was there, and it sounded like the sizing was what I was looking for. Just need to try some on when I get a chance.

Actually, GAP jeans are Buy One Get One 50% off today only online and in stores. And if you go here: http://gap.aditive.com/page/share/display?_m=209&_view=pre-auth you and do a FB or Twitter connection, you can get a coupon emailed to you for $5 off.

If you can get by a store today and try some on, you might be able to score some good prices. :)

  • Gap jeans all the way.  I've bought other brands and end up hating them.  I've never had a pair of Gap jeans I didn't like.  I'm gonna have to check out that online sale!
  • Love my Gap 1969 Long and Lean and Curvy bootcut jeans! I also used to love Express X2 jeans, I bought 2 pairs in March, and I am not loving them like I used to. I think they changed the sizing and cut and some days they fit great and other days they are so tight I end up sitting with them unbottoned and my flab hanging all out, although this could just be me and my bloat as of late.

  • I have a really hard time finding jeans that fit.  Most jeans I buy feel like the crotch is too low in them, but the one pair I bought that I absolutely love is from Forever 21 hahaha. It has some stretch and I don't feel like the crotch is too low at all!  I wish I could use one of those body scanner things.  Dang it, I wish I would have known about that when I was in ATL in October! :-P

The "hahah" is b/c I'm well aware the majority of shoppers for Forever 21 are like 21 and under, but I still like some of their stuff. :)

  • Before I got married and gained some extra pounds, I would buy American Eagle jeans religiously.  They always fit well, and they literally lasted for years.  But once my hips got bigger (than they even were before!), I got a pair of the Gap curvy jeans and fell in love.  They're great.  They're a little more pricey than what I like but H's cousin's fiance works for them and whenever she's in town, I exploit her for her discount.

I also bought a pair of Old Navy jeans when they were on sale on Black Friday for $15 and I've liked them.  When ON first came on the scene, I had a pair of jeans but I hated them because they felt so thin.  But they're definitely better quality nowadays and will probably be my go-to jean from now on.

  • I got my favourite pair at Old Navy. They're skinny jeans. The only problem is the waist is a bit too big, but I manage.

  • The jeans I have now are from NY&Co, but they are a few years old. I hardly ever wear jeans (1 or 2 times a week tops), so they last a long time for me. I did but a pair at ON last year and I liked those too.

  • I love JCPenney jeans... they used to have a brand called Mix It jeans that I loved but since those are gone, I like their St John's Bay jeans.

My sister has very good luck with JC Penny jeans too, I honestly have never tried them.
