Guys Our dishwasher is in!!
I am so excited the past two months dishes have been the biggest PITA. Who knew we got so use to having dishwasher.
We hired my BIL (handyman) with some leftover house credit money and he built our kitchen island and he is putting in our new backsplash and counter tops too. I am so freaking excited.
This kitchen became such a hated place for me after we moved so now it finally is feeling home like.
Hopefully P and I can get the new kitchen floors in before milo's birthday. I won't hold my breathe though.

nov! i have no idea what your situation is like but scratch and dent all the way! 200 bucks for a stainless steel interior kitchen aid dishwasher.
and guys i will post before and afters right after it is all done. the kitchen island even has a nook for our cat water dish. thankfully we keep tripping over it!

Did you get your appliances at Sears Scratch N Dent?
I feel the same way right now about our bathroom- I can't wait until we have the funds to put a new one in and be done with the 1950s pink and black. Or maybe just the funds for a new tub and floor. Ditto on the basement.
Colors are gray, yellow and white. We did new white appliances smooth not ridgey and we kept the 1950s white stove.
And yes to sears. We bought all our appliances from scratch and dent.
You know what, I don't really mind it too much. It's actually kind of relaxing, if that's even possible. lol. Thanksgiving is when I really wished I had one.
Besides, our kitchen would not even be able to fit one right now even if we did go the S&D route. The layout is wacked.
