Anyone attending one this year? Is it for your job or DH's? Is it at a restaurant? Hall? The workplace itself? What do you usually wear to such an occasion?

Re: Work Christmas Parties
DH informed me yesterday that his job is having a Christmas party next Friday. Of course he had absolutely no details for me as far as where it was going to be, what time it was going to be at, etc. etc.
All I can say is that I'm gonna' try to lay off the Christmas cookies for the next week and a half so that I can actually fit back into something cute. I don't want to be the fugly wife. lol
Happily not attending either. However, my sister was supposed to throw a party for our old CWs and I asked her today when it was and she said she decided not to do it but I'm bummed because if I knew sooner, I would have possibly thrown one. Oh well?
I'm honestly more excited for New Years than Christmas, and then I'm excited for Spring!
stop it, you are not fugly!
My work is having a Christmas lunch next Wednesday and we're playing Secret Santa. Hope I get something good!
I'm not sure about DH. I know they are planning a nerdfest/G2G on Thursday night in Royal Oak, but I think that's it.
Thank you for the vote of confidence Kristine. (Sidenote, we need to get together after the holidays!)
100% Agree. You're a hot mom!
Maybe I'll wear this shirt then.
Oh geez, that's right. I'm sorry for even bringing it up.
We do a big potluck thing, and then the firm does a drawing for gifts. Last year I won the biggest gift...a tv. I returned it and got the cash. lol It's nice, because we all have a good time chatting, actually drink some alcohol (like a glass of wine if you want it), and then generally head home after that because no one is actually going to work.
