And it has nothing to do with the holidays!
We took our last nursing school final yesterday - the one that says if we graduate and take our boards or if we have to retake a semester. Sometime today they will post grades online. If we fail the course, sometime today they personally call us and tell us.
OMG. The pharmacy called to remind me to pick up a prescription and I almost started crying. My SIL called from work asking if I had my score and I fell over with stress. I just need my grades, you f-ers. Just post it online and let me weep by myself if I failed.
I swear the professors do this just as payback for all the crap they have to do throughout the semester for us. If only I had a xanax....or wine.
Re: I'm a bit stressed
It will come soon enough. Can you something in the meantime to distract yourself? Maybe go to the gym or get into a good book?
For what it's worth, after law school I had to take the bar exam in early July and we didn't get our scores back until mid-October. Talk about a wait! And that pretty much determined whether I could work or not. So...it could be worse?
Congrats!
And my results came just a few days after I stopped obsessing over getting them. It was torture though!
