No-Sew Fleece Throw ... Q?

This may be silly ... but when making a 2-sided no sew fleece throw, the directions in all the tutorials I have seen dont say anything about attaching the two pieces of fleece together ... are the fringes/knots on the edges enough to really hold the two pieces together or do you add a dab of fabric glue in there anything?
