As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Buying books for others re: Kindle
Ok maybe I'm a slowsky..but can't you buy books for people for their kindles? I can't figure out how to do this. Also, if I buy a book now is it possible the person won't know until Christmas?

my mom got me a kindle gc for my stocking last year. so that is always an option.
no clue how to do it otherwise.
my mother in law bought the kindle for my sister in law, which is where this request came from. i think she wants to buy her daughter specific books instead of a gift card. i'm just not sure how it works since SIL hasn't set up her kindle yet as that is also a gift, ya know?
I'm half tempted to just ask SIL if she has an Amazon account but I don't want to ruin it.
