Hello, Im new on this board.

I know i am going to sound like a total novice here but how do i upload pics of my crafts & stuff. I tried hitting the insert image button but its asking for a url & the pics r saved on my pc.

 Also, i have been reading alot of u talk about pinterest. I went 2 it and ended up on it for hours, but im still kind of confused, wat exactly is it?

  • You need to upload your pictures to a site like tinypic.com. It will give you a code so you can post it on here.

    Pinterest is like a virtual bulletin/idea board where you can create categories and "pin" things that interest you. For example, I found some wall art I wanted for my daughter's room, so I created a board for that and pinned the urls for that art. I have some grand plans for my back yard, so I've been pinning images/articles about dream gardens and play areas. You can pin stuff independently, or repin items from other people's boards if they interest you.

    I just wanted to add, if you have a blog and add pics there, you can right click on the picture and use that URL in the insert pic spot on a post.

    I know for me, I will usually blog about a project, and then maybe add here about it directing people to my blog for more pictures.  If a blog spot contains a tutorial, I will link to my blog as well.

    Pinterest is addicting.  :)
