    16 read! my read shelf:
Amy's book recommendations, liked quotes, book clubs, book trivia, book lists (read shelf)
  • I was in college or law school when a lot of that happened.

Looking at the ages of the Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys (who are all around my age), I'm thinking - well at least JFK and Marilyn are older than me.  LOL!

  • Reading those didn't really make me feel old, they just made me miss those days.

  • That was fun. I love remembering how it use to be. The save button was by far the best. My sister who is 18 now, actually asked me what it was a few years ago. I about died.

  • Some of those actually made me say, "Wow, really?" It's crazy to me that things that happened in 1991 that I remember so vividly, happened 20 years ago.

Agree! I can hardly believe how quickly time has passed, especially when it just seems like yesterday for some of the things on the list.

  • The only one that made me think, "Wow," was Kurt Cobain being dead for 17 years. Dear lord.

The save button one was pretty hilarious. I didn't even get it at first, I was like, "Wait--that's the same save button, what's the deal?" It took me several moments to realize DUH, IT'S A FLOPPY DISK.

And Be Kind, Please Rewind. OMG. I don't know how we lived back in the olden days. :)
