What are some DIY ideas for my dad??
My dad is the kind of guy that has everything, doesn't need anything, etc. He is also just overall hard to buy for. Good thing is he really doesn't care about gifts.
Is anyone doing a DIY gift for their dads?
He is semi-retired now, due to illness - but is not "sick". He is a home builder by trade. Does play golf (but can't right now), likes wine, is a jeans and polo kind of guy.
I do general crafts, sewing, and good at "put this together with random objects" type of thing. I do not knit or crochet.
Thoughts??

I made my dad this:

Stand up for something you believe in.
Also tool shaped chocolates could be a really fun idea if you can find a tool chocolate mold. I've seen them around in craft stores here and they are adorable and I think would be quite easy

We got these for my dad - he is a wine freak. Instead of "wino" on them, we had them personalized with his nickname from the grandkids. I think they would have been easy enough to make, but I work in retail and don't have time at Christmas!
