Good thoughts for my DH please?
About a month ago, we had to take DH to the emergency room because he was in severe pain. It turned out to be a 12 cm cyst off his appendix that was irritating his bladder and caused a bad infection.
Tomorrow morning, he's going in for open surgery (the cyst is too big to remove laproscopically) to remove the cyst, his appendix and part of his lower intestine.
10 days before Christmas, yay. His christmas is going to pretty much suck since he probably won't be up to traveling and won't be able to eat much.

Thanks for the good thoughts.
He's out of surgery and in the ICU, but in a good amount of pain. I'm not sure how long he'll be in the ICU but he's definitely in the hospital for a few days. Bit nasty vertical incision, too.
Good news is, initial pathology came back as benign (especially good as it was spilling into his abdomen.)
