AHS *Spoilers* I'm sure...
I really enjoyed this episode. I LOVED the opening scene and who the heck is Thadeus??!
Does it seem like Nora is more clueless than she used to be? She seemed to be relatively with what has happened and is going on in that scene, but later we've seen her thinking she is still alive and an owner of the house. What's up w/ that?

Yes, he's been mentioned as the doctor's baby. I'm interested to know who he's aged.
I'm looking forward to next week's episode, but I'm sad that it's the finale.

I am glad Vivian died in the house so she can be with Violet. If baby #1 was stillborn, wouldn't it have died in the house and thus be a ghost baby forever and ever?
I would think so. Remember we didn't see the "smoldering" children for a couple episodes, so I am sure that baby will be a new member of the house. I was also thinking that Dylan Mc. is her last child. It has to be something along those lines. It's not like Constance is an honest person. There has to be a reason that we haven't see him or her yet.
Another thing, I should not cry at this show, but I find myself crying at almost every episode.
I also am surprise that Tate and Violet didn't earn some kind of award recognition. If not Violet than Tate. He is so darn good at being a sociopath.
Thaddeus scared the crap out of me. But yeah, I'm not sure I totally understand. Since presumably he's dead (was killed and dismembered and sewn back together again - and also since Tate was able to make him "go away", one presumes he is a ghost), why has he aged and none of the other ghosts have? Well, Moira has, but that's about it. I don't know if I get why some do and some don't.
Anyway, this episode was only ok for me. The birth went on for entirely too long. The Chad/Constance fight was awesome and Tate and Violet were also great (I also agree they should have had awards nominations), but I thought last week's episode was better.

I was wondering this exact same thing last night when we finally watched it. I think Moira maybe didn't age, but looks that way to the women of the house so she won't be seen as a threat and they are good with keeping her on as a housekeeper.
Remember her death scene though? Constance (and the audience) saw her die as a young version of Moira. Unless that was a trick.
No - I think he is just a sociopath.
And Thaddeus was brought back to life by his Frankenstein-father. It wasn't clear whether or not Nora killed Thaddeus, could if be that he lived hidden in the house for a while?

The first scene with Thaddeus scared the living piss out of me. I am not too ashamed to admit that.
I love Zach Q so much. And Constance. And Tate. I have no idea how they casted these people so well.
H and I were confused about whether Thaddeus was killed away from the house or not. But the fact that the Dr. pieced him back together, and subsequently brought him back to life, helps with that.
In the next season, I can't wait to see how Viv and Hayden being ghosts in the same house works out. I can imagine lots of vindictive cat fights.
Do we think McD really kills himself in the finale?
I couldn't agree with all of your statements. The Thaddeus scene had my heart racing, he was so stinking creepy.
All of the characters are excellent. Ryan Murphy deserves a lot more recognition for that.
I read in an interview that Connie Britton (sp?) said that Viv was only supposed to be for one season but she would be open to coming back for another. God only knows what the heck they are going to do for season 2.
DH is still convinced that Ben is Constance's 4th child somehow. I don't know if that's even kind of possible, but with this show, you really never know. I think he's going to leave or burn the house down. Not sure if either of them are even kind of a great finale ending, but it has to be something BIG!
This is what I was thinking...I don't know that I believe that it was actually stillborn.
And I thought I read somewhere that the 2nd season was going to be new people in a new house. Did anyone else hear this, or am I making it up?
