Wednesday, Wednesday
Begin vent. This has been a busy and stressful week for me. My students are performing three concerts this week and I had four dress rehearsals to run so needless to say I am already burned out and it is only Wednesday. I still have two more concerts....one tomorrow and one on Saturday.
I went to leave work today and my car wouldn't start. I tried again and nothing. Fast forward 30 minutes later and I am a crying mess because my car will not start and I am stranded at work (DH and I only have one car). Because I have a concert with my students tomorrow and no way to get back to work. Because this could not have happened at a worse time.
So now I am waiting for my sister to come pick me up, but it will be awhile because she lives about 45 minutes away. And now DH is trying to find a way for me to get to work tomorrow and back home again. So that has been my Wednesday. End vent.

Well I waited about an hour and 15 minutes for my sister. She had our brother with her. We jumped my car and it started. I had a battery check done on my car...it was bad. Unfortunately I just purchased a new battery for my car about a year ago so it should still be good. We took my car back to the place where we purchased the battery because we were told they would replace it for free. That made me happy!
However, since passenger side tire is missing a wheel stud they will not replace my battery. It is their policy since they need to take off the tire to change the battery. I went a got the wheel stud and since we do not have a jack we need to take it somewhere to have someone put it on and then we can get our free replacement battery. Hopefully we will get everything all taken care of by tomorrow. What a headache! At least the battery is getting replaced for free though.
oh man that really stinks about the car but glad they will replace it for free! I had to get jumped the other the day not use to it still being somewhat dark out when i leave for work and forgot to turn my headlights off oops.
As for today's vent it's my Friday and it just wouldn't end...and i got some sad news while at work that made it seem even longer, my somewhat ex-bother-in-law (they were never 'married' but together long enough to be common law married) they had split up a few months back and he was out and got in to a fight and ended up getting killed, I'm having a hard time believing it, and thinking how my sister and nephew and niece are doing/ handling this and what they must be thinking. Just makes me sad.
That really stinks. Hang in there and try to keep things in perspective!! I know it's hard but I always try to remind myself that things *could* be worse.
My vent is that my monthly visitor is on her way and I feel like crap. I really wish employers gave women one day a month that they could take off of work for womanly woes - if I used my sick time I'd have none left for when I'm really sick!

If you need help/suggestions on how to lower expenses/adjust your budget, the ladies on money matters can give some really great, honest advice if you post your budget. You could always create an AE to write a budget post over there too. Good luck! DH and I did a little bit of an overhaul a few months ago and it's been great to feel like we cut some things that we don't miss and have leftover money to show for it.
