Thank you so much for your support ladies, it really means the world to me. Here is an update as to what is going on.
They think that he has pneumonia that hit him very hard b/c he has poor lung functioning and they couldn't handle it. He is still sedated and on a ventilator. They say it will be at least 48 hours and even a week before they will wake him up. They want to make sure he is ok so they don't have to put the tube back in. They are running tests on his heart to make sure that is ok since he has serious heart issues.
My mom isn't handling all of this well, they spend every minute together. She is having a hard time with this. She wants to be able to talk to him and she is afraid she won't be there when they wake him (even though we tell him the doctors want him sedated right now). She had to watch everything go on in the ER, so she is pretty scared. It is definitely not a pretty site seeing him there and it has us all scared.
Really we just want all of this to end so we can have a nice holiday together. Continued thoughs and prayers are greatly appreciated. (BTW the comment about the Nestie uncle would thrill him to no end and I will tell him. He talks about you guys and refers to the board as 'the girls' all the time). XOXO

Tell him we're all thinking about him.... he's a really awesome man, both your parents are... your whole family is awesome.
Please give that beautiful sister of yours a hug from me also as I'm sure this is hard on her too and I'm sending you a great big sunny hug from California. I can't imagine how hard it must be to see him like this. Your family is strong and I admire how much you are there for each other. You are blessed with an amazing family.
Hang in there hon and remember we love you and you're not far from our thoughts. Hugs
