Woo Thursday?
It's raining here. And going up to 12?C (54?F). And it's December 15th. WTF?
Last night was fairly low key. I made a yummy pasta dinner and hit up the mall to try and exchange a gift we bought for BIL. Apparently Old Navy only has medium fleece comfy pants now. Again, WTF? Oh well.
Tonight I have no idea what I'll be doing, but it'd better be productive!

I have to bake a bunch of cookies when I get home, some hopefully that goes off without a hitch. I am really looking forward to Christmas.
Good morning. Last night I ended up staying at work for an extra hour, getting some little things out of the way so I can focus on some bigger projects today. Josh stayed late, too, so we met up to go home at around 7.
Tonight we were supposed to go to a party at Josh's work, but he's so swamped that he's not even planning on going. So that's off the table--tonight I'll probably just go home, try to finish Christmas shopping, and then go to bed.

I got Jim's Christmas present all squared away last night and the last of Christmas cards went out in the mail this morning, so that's done.
Tonight, I need to get some things wrapped so they can go in the mail and I'd like to get cookie dough mixed so I can make them tomorrow. I've been very slack on the baking and that is not like me at all.

Our weather is about the same here, unseasonably warm and rainy. The temperature is supposed to drop throughout the day today though.
Last night was very low key. I didn't realize how exhausted I was until I got home and sat down. Today I'm hoping to finish up my Christmas shopping for my sister and BIL. I'd like to have enough energy left when I get home to get in a workout tonight. We'll see.

Last night was a good night. Jordan and I studied for his reading 9 weeks test that he has today. I have my fingers crossed he does good. I went in to talk to his teacher yesterday just to kind of see how he is doing going into the test and right now he asl a's so as long as he does good on his test he will be on the honor roll again! So proud of my baby!
I also got to catch up on my dvr last night and do a little baking. Tonight DH is off work so we will be having a yummy dinner and studying for spelling test.
I loathe the 5am wakeup for feeding. Early enough to screw you out of getting back to sleep well, and not late enough to actually wake up for work and function. Grrr. Otherwise, we only had to get up twice last night. Hopefully catching up with some cat naps this weekend, in between all the shopping/cleaning/baking...oy.
Today is super quiet. My boss left for a few weeks of vacation, so it's just me and any student that actually has the time to come in and work. They're starting finals today, so everyone is in full study mode.
I heard back about the new job. They're going to call me in January. haha. I guess I'll have to wait to find out what the phone call is for. My thought is that it's good and they'll talk to me about a start date. If they didn't want me, they wouldn't wait a month to tell me no. Although, they might still be pondering the whole thing.

I'm with everyone else on the weather. Last night it was 66 degrees here (18C) I went running in shorts in a t-shirt. It's crazy.
I had a lazy evening. I made a frozen pizza for dinner with fresh roasted garlic and caught up on Dexter.
Tonight is probably more of the same.

I'm still trying to decide what to make and bake for Christmas. Some of it will be mailed out of town, so that's a consideration.
Other than that, we're already gearing up for year-end close at work.

Crystal - I can't believe it's going to be 77 where you are today, that's crazy! It's currently 22 degrees and our high today is 43, so it's pretty seasonable around here.
Another BFN this morning. I'm starting to think I didn't O when I thought I did or something.
Today is my last full day of work until the 27th, WOOHOO!! I have a ton to do today but it will be so worth it next week. Tonight I really need to finish my Christmas cards and get them into the mail and wrap my nieces gifts so I can ship them to Iowa tomorrow.

When I left for work it was freezing rain. It has now turned over to regular rain. It's in the upper 40's today. Pretty normal here.
Lastnight I worked late since I had a long lunch with some old coworkers, which was fun. Today I Have my weigh in at lunch. I'm finally getting somewhere, after taking along break. I am at 20 lbs lost and only have 2.5 to make my first 10% goal. YAY!
Tonight, I just want to have some quality time with the boys. So I think mega blocks and horse rides on mommy is in my future.

I'd say your O'd where the CH's are. And based on where you temp jumps, you might have just implanted a bit later, in which case there's just not enough hCG in your urine yet to register on a HPT. The fact that your temp when up today is a good sign! Maybe wait 2 days and test again? GL!!

I got a start on baking last night, making a huge batch of oatmeal M&M cookies and some coquito (Puerto Rican eggnog). I had hoped to get another cookie done, but just ran out of time. I may do them tonight, but we have our work party so depends what time I get home from that.
So we'll be heading out for this party in a few hours, and should be fun - or at least amusing to watch the guys on the floor get drunk and crazy. All professionalism goes out the window with this crew at the Christmas party.

I had to throw together a dinner last night because the chicken I bought went bad. I was bummed, because I was really looking forward to chicken gyros.
Weather is all over the place here. Today its drizzly 37.
Other than a crap ton of work to do - I get to deliver the gifts I bought for the family we adopted today or tomorrow.
I really shouldn't be responding to this post at all as I have a full day worth of stuff I'm supposed to get done and here I sit on the computer
I've got to clean this place up before company comes in on Saturday and then I'm supposed to head out with my friend to do a little Christmas shopping and search for a tacky holiday sweater. After that I've got to get my flu shot (still haven't done that and we're well into the season!), make a huge batch of Oreo truffles, and bathe my smelly dogs which will take at least two hours because they hate water. Oh joy. I'm looking forward to 9 o' clock when the hubby gets off. We're going out with some friends to see the midnight premiere of Sherlock Holmes.

Aside from that, things here are fairly quiet. Like most of you, it was unseasonably warm here this morning, but it is supposed to get colder later today.

Ugh, today has been crappy.
Work started off not being too busy but I ended up in a 2 hour meeting and then the mental health education group I run, ran REALLY late and there were so many patients there. I missed our noon meeting and didn't really get a lunch break. I just got to eat a little while I was getting other things done.
The entire while I'm getting text messages from my brother who is having some health issues and I ended up able to convince him to come to our ER. So after my shift was done, I went to spend time with him. He's waiting to get referred to a specialist in London and still has some testing pending. Hopefully they can get things straightened out for him shortly.
So, now I'm home, I'm exhausted and skipped the gym.

Today was fine. I am ready for break. My kids are fine, but I am just not there mentally right now. I came home this afternoon and ran 4 miles on the treadmill and then DH and I went to dinner. Now I am watching Big Bang Theory and trying not to fall asleep on the couch.
At least tomorrow is Friday.
