Christmas "Lists"
Do you give your DH a true Christmas list of things that you want? DH gets frustrated this time of year, because he says I'm really hard to shop for. He still has no idea what to get me for Christmas and asked me to give him a list of things that I want. I've done this in the past and he just buys everything on the list (making me feel bad, because he spent so much money on me). So now I need to make a list.... (Any suggestions?)

Re: Christmas "Lists"
I asked for some kitchen stuff, a new pair of Uggs, some DVDs, makeup and some clothing too.
It may take some of the fun out of Christmas but DH and I have a budget we spend for each other. I like it because then no one ends up spending a ton. We have always used this system and works really well for us.

My DH does the same exact thing! However, if it's not on the list I will not get it! He says I'm hard to buy for but I'm really not.
Funny, we may be the only people in that world that don't buy for eachother... I mean I picked him up a set of beer glasses and he will get me something little like a few new books or something, but that's it. We have a lot of nieces and nephews to buy for so the budget is always tight.
If he gets your everything off your list.. Make it a great list:)
I always ask for gift cards to Kohl's, JcPenney, Bed Bath & Beyond & also my hair salon.
I make a list for my family, and while DH usually sees it, he generally doesn't buy from it unless it's something I've really been talking about. He's pretty good about trying to get creative with my gifts.
My dad, on the other hand, sounds like your DH. He'll take my mom's Christmas list and go out with it like it's a shopping list. She always gets so mad at him (lol) and has to constantly remind him that it's a wish list, not a shopping list.
