What to bring for Christmas

As mentioned in the randoms post, my family's Christmas is Sunday.  Mom *finally* has agreed to do it potluck, so she doesn't spend all day in the kitchen on her replaced knees, and get too exhausted to enjoy the gathering.

She's making mostaccioli.  Sister's making big salad.  SIL is bringing garlic bread and dip.  Brother is unsure.

I'm thinking either a side dish or dessert (maybe both).  It needs to be made at our house (because while mom isn't slaving away in the kitchen, she gets crazy when someone else is using it), travel 2.5 hours, and be good to go in the afternoon.  I will be able to put something in the oven, or plug in a crock pot.

Suggestions?
