Moms, a question about diapers.
I need disposable diaper help. Normally we use cloth diapers, but I don't want to deal with them on our weekend in Chicago, so I thought I would pick up some disposables? Any advice for sizing or brand?
James is very long and skinny. He is about 90% for length and between 5-10% for weight. Wondering if I should size up to help with his length? It looks like size 2 go to 18 lbs, and he is 14.
Thanks
Re: Moms, a question about diapers.
Pampers all the way.
DD is 12lbs and in size 1 still. She's also long and skinny. Not sure how much that helps :-/
My sister swore by Pampers.
We use Huggies 95% of the time, but buy Pampers sometimes.
I think a size 2 would work.
We were big fans of Luvs. They cinched tight enough on DS, though he was bigger in %ile than James. What is the minimum weight on 2s? I have no frame of reference anymore.
I have heard enough "horror" stories to avoid Target's Up & Up diapers, fwiw.

size 2's are 12-18, I think
eta: size 3's are 16-28
I wouldn't size up, especially since he's on the lean side. You don't want to risk blowing out the legholes (which cannot be made tighter). Size 2 sounds fine.
