What do you want for Christmas/What are you getting?
I cannot for the life of me figure out what I want. Thought maybe a Kindle Fire but it is not released in the UK yet. I want a pair of Mary Jane shoes, but haven't seen any I like. So, I am waiting until those become available. Needless to say, I will not be opening much. Just need some ideas, in case I would like it. And I can tell DH.
Re: What do you want for Christmas/What are you getting?
I asked for flannel pajama pants. I'm lame, I know.
My mom bought me both DVDs of the 7th Harry Potter...so that was good! Otherwise...I have no idea what DH got me, because he didn't ask for a list.
DH and I are not exchanging presents due to the upcoming move. However, I asked my parents for some toasty slippers (French floors are cold in winter!) and here are some of the things I got for my recent birthday:
- Fossil wristlet purse
- 1-month yoga class card
- Uniqlo heattech clothing
- small, packable kitchenware (completely unnecessary, but I couldn't resist the Matryushka measuring cups and things like that)
My mom asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I asked for Fiesta Baking Dishes. Then she said don't you want anything more personal too. So I asked for some make-up stuff I've been needing and the Marc Jacobs Daisy, Lola, Daisy Fresh rollarball trio. I put an iPhone 4 on the list too but I'm optimistic about that. haha
DH has fronted $500 towards a new laptop. But there isn't anything that fits my portability needs in the under $500 range. So I guess I'm rain checking it till I find something affordable or I find a job for the difference.

We're being lame this year and buying 'each other' a new surround sound system for our living room. We're not even buying this before Christmas, but are waiting for the after Christmas sales, so really, we just have my parents' gifts and our stocking to unpack. I have no idea what they got us, since they didn't ask for a list.

A perennial want that I never seem to actually get:
My husband won't watch this with me. He made me watch Repo Man (I'll never get that time back) but won't watch an awesome British Christmas comedy with me. How can you not love Colin who goes to Milwaukee for a girl. hehe And the little boy. So cute.
