I don't spend much time there because people are flat out crazy, but today they are going above and beyond.
Synopsis 1:
My dog stares at me, so I yell at him. I hate him.
If you're a bad dog mom, you'll be a bad mom, because babies and dogs are similar in that they can't communicate their needs.
Somebody drops the C word. Lots of sarcasm going around.
Synopsis 2:
Wall of text. I can't get federal aid because my mom won't give me my SS card. I'm homeless. I was afraid I was "barron" so we TTC. I miscarried, so we tried again and it worked. My BF is a jerk. I was afraid to get a job bc I knew I'd have morning sickness.
Lots of "oh that sucks" and tips on getting a new card.
The dog one is so sarcastic that parts of it are funny. Worth a look if you're bored out of your mind.
ETA: I'm trying to get to page 3 of the dog post and it looks like she DDd. Dangit.
Re: 1st Tri is killing me today.
Favorite response from the dog post, since I think C&Ping a whole page would get me in trouble:
It's ok, I hate my dog too. I tell people she's not mine... she's my husband's. She was a street dog from Puerto Rico and she is the neediest beast I have ever met. Always poking you with her stupid wet nose and leaping in the air and stamping her annoying feet like a psycho. I cant even pet my cats because she thinks all attention should be given to her at all times. I hate her.
Bump boards scare me.* The girl from synopsis 2 sounds like a real winner, and I hope that the first girl is just dealing with serious hormonal issues right now.
*Except for the BFing board, which I checked out once when someone on MN suggested it. In about ten minutes of searching through "problem" posts, I found the solution to my problem. Big thanks to the MNer who referred me to that board!

Is it bad that I go there to get over my baby fever?
Haha. That's probably a good strategy, from what I've seen.

I'm glad you don't need to be there, too!
I can see the natural birth ladies agreeing on a lot of things. I imagine potential drama such as arguments between natural birthing methods can't get all that heated, since so much of that is personal preference.

Wow. Sounds like someone is NOT a dog person. Also, for a moment I thought that synopsis #2 was someone that I know irl. What blew it was the job part because the person I know has a job. (family business, she wouldn't quit even with M/S)
It seems more likely to cure my doggy fever, what with all the talk of unruly dogs, nipping, biting, jumping, eating underwear, and ya know...staring at people.
The OP from #2 got a job a few weeks ago. It's her first job ever.
