I got a Christmas card today from an address in WV and a last name that I didn't recognize. I opened it up and it's signed by my cousin's wife and their kids. Here's why it's strange:
1. As of a few months ago, they lived in MD, not WV
2. My cousin's name wasn't signed in the card
3. It wasn't her married name on the card, so it must be her maiden name
Apparently they're separated/divorced? If that's the case, it's really strange that she'd send me a card because I've only actually met her once.

Re: Kinda weird
Sounds like my family. My mom has 5 brothers, I have at least 30 cousins. Most of her brothers have been married 2+ times. People show up at my grandma's to ear on holidays and no one knows who they are. I mean, really. I've walked up to them and said, "Hi, I'm Crystal, Susan's daughter. Who are you and how are you related to me?"

Other than a comment here and there on facebook, no, but he's 6 years older than me and we're not super close, so I wouldn't be the first person he told if they separated, ya know?
Which would make a Christmas card from the estranged wife even more odd. GL figuring that one out Beth!
Well, yeah. Right. lol I'm not even all that close to him and I've only met her once, so why the heck would she send me a card if they're no longer together? So weird. haha
Ditto! Very weird!
