Help me make this coaster...
I am making holiday coasters for my mom and sister.
The Easter one is tripping me up. I bought these fabrics:
and

The intent was for the eggs to be the focus and the jelly beans to be an accent. The backing fabric I bought is purple swirls.
I originally cut 3x3 on the eggs and put the jelly beans on the bottom and sides and that looked awful. Now I can't decide what to do. Should I maybe mix the purple in?

Re: Help me make this coaster...
Now I think I might strip piece the jelly beans and purple and make the eggs the back.
Maybe I'll do a wonky star with the purple and jelly beans...

I think using the solid and small print together and preserving the larger pattern of the eggs on the backing sounds like a good idea.
