Anyone have any fun road trip games?
Or other entertainment ideas to keep us from going insane on our 22-hour road trip, which will commence tomorrow evening at around 6:30?
We have a few audio books, but I don't have high hopes that DH will have a very long listening tolerance.

Re: Anyone have any fun road trip games?
As totally lame as it sounds (and probably is), DH and I sometimes play the alphabet game (having to find the alphabet letters in order forwards & backwards on highway signs, license plates, etc). We've also been known to play "I spy with my little eye" and "would you rather?" All of these are incredibly lame/cheesy...but multiple hours in a car does that to me/us
lol
Good luck with your roadtrip. Safe travels!!
DH and I play "The Actor Game" we take turns naming an actor, then we go back and forth naming movies that actor has been in until one of us cannot think of one. Whomever can't think of a movie on their turn looses.
It always turns out with me naming females I know he doesn't know and him naming males I do not know. But it is fun and takes up time!
We also play the license plate game where we both try and yell out a license plate that is different from the state you are driving in, and keep score.
Good Luck and have fun!
Grab some Trivial Pursuit cards and quiz one another.
Or get one of those little questions for couples books.
Travel safe!
One time on a particularly boring drive through Wyoming, my brothers and I each picked a type of vehicle (car, SUV, or semi-truck) and the first person to spot 100 of their vehicle won.
Also, try and see how many license plate states you can find.
Ditto the alphabet game.
We sometimes play a game where one person names a famous person (say: John Elway), and the next person has to name someone whose first name starts with the first letter of that persons last name (Elijia Wood). Then back to the next person (Whoopi Goldberg) until you can't think of any. (and if you get a one-word name (Cher) you use the last letter of that name (R).) Sometime we start allowing fictitious people or people we know.
Have fun and drive safe!!!
We LOVE the alphabet game! It can get pretty tricky if you're driving in remote area, southeast Kansas is difficult!
