Opinion--turning in resignation letter
Hi again! One more question regarding my offer/quitting current position.
I officially accepted the position yesterday and the HR rep said she was mailing my offer letter/benefits info out in the mail. We were in touch today via email because I am going in for a day or two of training before I officially start my 40/hrs a week. I was also in touch with my supervisor via email (I emailed her to say I was excited to be working with her and she responded back with the same).
Do I wait until I actually have the offer letter in my hands before I resign from my current position? Or considering the above factors am I "safe" to turn it in?
FWIW, I was planning on turning in my resignation on Monday so the offer letter could still come in the mail tomorrow or Saturday.

Hmm. I actually signed and returned the offer before I resigned, but I wanted my bases covered. I couldn't afford to quit the previous job before securing another lol.
