Kroger Pharmacy??
Hello everyone!
I will be graduating from Pharmacy School in May of 2012. Right now I am just exploring my career options, one being a Pharmacist at Kroger pharmacy. Do any of you happen to be Pharmacists or know of anyone who has worked as a Pharmacist at Kroger Pharmacy? If so please let me know about your experience. Thanks!

My husband is a nuclear pharmacist so he doesn't have personal experience, but a few of his friends from school are.
They enjoy the work, and it's not much different than other retail pharmacy jobs. From what I've heard, they all have their good and bad points. I've heard more "horror" stories from those that work at actual drug stores, rather than superstores. There isn't as many people trying to buy drugs without a script, but I have heard that they are in charge of their entire section of the store, not just the pharmacy, so they have to check/organize/re-stock the aisles every night, on top of their pharmacy tasks.
My DH worked at Target and Kmart during school as an intern, and he preferred Kmart. However his sister, who is also a pharmacist, worked for CVS and Target, and prefers Target. So, it's basically personal preference. I haven't heard anything negative about Kroger pharmacies.
