I moved branches at work.
As some may remember, I work for a bank on the westside. Well, about 3 weeks ago, the same position became available in a different (better) area and I posted for the position and got it. I was on vacation last week and this week, started at the new branch.
Let me tell you, it has been a night and day difference in moving. The energy here is more positive and playful. I am happier, the workload is lighter and the "unique" customers I encounter has lessened.
For the first time in a long time, things are finally starting to fall into place in my life.

It's so true. I was really really unhappy at the other branch. I was looking at other job opportunities, but because I was enrolled in school FT and that was taking a lot of my time, I decided to "tough it out". Though the pay is still not where I want to be, by far, my bills get paid and it allows me the opportunity to go to school and it gives me great benefits + time off. All in all, I am grateful to be employed and focusing on me for the first time in a LONG time.
