baking/cake ladies (dill??) a question
I'm making these for my IL's family xmas tomorrow:

Is there a way for me to make my frosting look good like that, without some special tool? I don't have any cake decorating supplies and don't really have the $ to go buy one just for these, but the cupcakes look cute because of the frosting! I usually just spread it on with a knife and it looks terrible.

This is what I did before I got any decorating tools. Works great, and no piping bag or coupler to clean!
Hmmmm-that sounds even simple enough that I can do it!!
I was going to suggest the ziplock bag too.
You can get a small package of bags and one tip for a few bucks though. Even cheaper if you use a Michaels coupon
Agreed.
The ziploc bag idea is great, until you squeeze it too hard one to many times and it busts at the seam. Eeek.
I agree. You can try to double bag it though.
