Re: QOTD - Friday

  • I don't know if it is my "favorite", but the most "aaaaahhhhhh" moment is when I first lay down in bed at night. The glorious stretch, the bed to myself... No one can bother me there, and the day has come to an end.... moments of bliss.

  • my husband coming home from work.
  • After dinner, when all three of us go downstairs to the playroom before bath time starts. I love just hanging out down there watching DS play with his toys, playing little games with him, and just unwinding at the end of the day.

  • I was just thinking about this a few days ago. I have a few favorite parts:

--When I get DS out of his crib in the morning b/c he is usually laughing and smiling (DD is a bit of a crank when we first get her up).

--When I sit down at my desk and drink my coffee, alone, and just enjoy the silence of my office.

--When I pick up the kids and they see me, particularly when DD comes running out the door.

--When we're snuggling the kids before bed.

--When they go to sleep at 7pm, and I finally relax, and enjoy a glass of wine.

  • -Getting DS up in the morning, because he is so excited to tackle another day. It's inspiring

-Putting DS down at night and getting to relax with DH

  • The part where I get to leave work.  I really hate my job right now.
  • When I walk in the door and my dog is so excited to see me she turns circles and brings me all of her favorite toys.

  • When I get home from work and DS comes running and says "Mommy!!" - Totally makes my day :)
  • i really enjoy my morning latte and having dinner with DH

  • The mornings - chit chatting with my DH, preparing for what the day will bring. It's definitely my favorite time.

Ditto this.  Of course, DD immediately asks me for food (no hugs, no hello), so it's not some kind of Norman Rockwell moment :P

  • Coming home after work to DH and eating dinner together. Call me cheesy, but I still get all excited to see him!
  • On the mornings I run, that is my favorite time of day.  Its relaxing and I feel better connected with myself.

On the off days, breakfast with my husband.  It seems our minds are either buzzing with all the day in the evenings or we are exhausted so breakfast is when we connect.

  • That time in between getting home from work and starting dinner when I can veg out for a few minutes.

  • Relaxing at home after dinner. My day seems over then.

This is what I was going to say, except add in "does a little jig" because seriously, for 70 pounds, he totally prances! Happiness is a warm puppy?always glad to see you. Dog
