Christmas Breakfast Ideas
I cannot believe Christmas is just over a week away. I need to get a move on! Im hosting breakfast at my house on Christmas day--just immediate family so its a small affair of 5-7 people. Im looking for menu ideas, especially easy crock pot or casserole type things I can make the night before and throw in the oven in the morning. Ideas? Anyone have a good and easy french toast casserole recipe?

From Pinterest (of course), made without the nuts:

You need to get on pinterest if you aren't already.
I've been eyeing this board for Christmas brunch.

I actually think that the poster is a nestie, I'm shamefully not sure who.
Sausage balls sound amazing.
I'm making Christmas breakfast for my parents and the in-laws. I'm making scrambled eggs, ham, kielbasa, hash brown casserole, the crock pot french toast that Jess posted and rye toast. There will also be plenty of bellini's and mimosa's which will most likely only be consumed by me!
This is the hash brown casserole I'm making.

I mad eit last Christmas and it was good. The only thing I changed was that I used cream of mushroom instead and I didn't bother with the cornflake topping. I mixed all the ingredients the night before and kept it in the fridge until the next morning. Very easy.
My plan was these baked egg/quiches the night before and reheat, which I make often in different combos (spinach/swiss/bacon; mozz/apple sausage/onion, etc.)....

...and these muffins which are awesome...

and some bacon and fruit.
tee hee! sausage balls!
heh heh heh!
my suggestion:
SD- this is probably what I should do!
we always have sticky buns...they're super easy to prepare the night before and then just cook in the oven the next morning. we've used frozen (uncooked) dinner rolls) instead of thawing/cutting a frozen loaf, which makes it even easier, and we always double the ingredients for the "goo". they are amazing.

It is me! I have brunches pretty often for my family, and those are my go to recipes. You can assemble everything the night befoe, and then pop them in the oven. The sausage balls are AMAZING with Jimmy Dean maple sausage. I shape them the night before, and place the whole tray in my fridge. That morning, I pop them in the oven to cook, and serve with a side of syrup.
