Last weekend before Christmas
How are you spending it?
Tomorrow I'll be watching Alex and our niece while H and BIL set up a new (to us) swingset BIL is giving us.
Sunday will be the usual of church, errands and football.
We still haven't done much Christmas shopping, so we somehow have to buy for 13 people before Saturday when our gift giving festivities begin (being hosted at our house). Hopefully we can throw having a baby in there somewhere too. I apparently live on stress.
Re: Last weekend before Christmas
And I have to do some major shopping. I have been slacking at gift getting this year, I have to figure some key people out still: mom, step-dad, BIL ... my DH. Yikes!
There is a mom's night out at the local baby store / moms group tonight that I am playing with the idea of going.
Tomorrow night is the company christmas party. Will take lots of pictures, hopefully there will be enough people in theme. Tomorrow day I need to clean the house and get presents out of viewing range since MIL and FIL are babysitting.
Sunday taking Evie to the indoor playground and maybe see santa again and hope she doesn't freak
I need to wrap, finish some gifts and get everything ready to ship on monday...
My Blog Picture A Day Blog
Jill-yay for a swingset! Alex will prob. love it!
Tonight is my work Christmas dinner for the builder I work for now. Should be fun.
Tomorrow is IL's family Christmas and I'm not dreading it because... ILs are not going! MIL, SIL and FIL are all missing out this year (for stupid reasons, but who am I to argue?) so we will get to enjoy the day with DH's cousins/aunts/uncles, etc. The crazy level will be turned way down except for one cousin's wife who will repeatedly tell me that the liberals at VT are brainwashing me. Ha.
Sunday-no big plans after church. MUST get my xmas cards mailed out soon!
Hanukah starts Tuesday night. All I have left to do is wrap B's presents. DH and I are not exchanging this year due to finances.
We are ordering personalized calenders for my parents, sister, and MIL. I got $60 worth of Vistaprint products for $15, so that should cover most of it. I have to actually sit down and make/order those. Probably tomorrow night. Also, we need to get holiday cards and print pictures of B to send to some of DH's family.

Tomorrow we have santa coming to our work so people can have their pets photo taken with him.
Tomorrow night we are going to bring the kids on the polar express train.
Sunday is football and i'll probably wrap the rest of the Christmas presents.
Tonight is H's work Christmas party, and I have a Christmas party but its not really through work, although many attys in the county will be there.
Tomorrow - still a few more gifts to buy. Nothing like the last minute, huh? And hopefully H will spray paint the dresser drawer knobs so all my painted furniture can be in the same pieces again. I would love to just do it myself, but you know.
No plans Sunday.
We're "doing Christmas" with my family because we'll be at the ILs for the 25th. I think we're decorating the tree, exchanging presents, etc. We'll probably do the car-drive festival of lights, which is always fun!
I'm also taking one of our horses to another farm to be on a "breeding lease" for a year. She hopefully gets to be a mommy and I don't have to pay any bills on her (but get to keep ownership). Should be interesting!
Hopefully last weekend just the two of us before baby makes an appearance.
We *were* planning to have a nice relaxing weekend, with a nice dinner and have our own little Christmas opening gifts from each other, etc. And go driving to look at Christmas lights, etc.
Then, we got a lot of rain. Then DH got a lot of calls for new water damages. Then he told me he has to work all weekend.
I told him I wish he felt that spending one last weekend together was more important. Well, important enough to ask someone else to monitor the jobs this weekend. He doesn't seem to agree. So, I cried and walked away. And that's where it stands.
He's all gung-ho about lots of sex, walking and breast pumping this weekend to try and get this baby out before Christmas next weekend. I guess I'm just not too into it, knowing that we'll be "doing it" only when he has free time from work. And that the phone could ring mid-sex with his boss calling. From past experience, I can say with assurance that he would answer the phone.
Tomorrow hopefully wrapping and getting our presents together (right now they are taking over the dining room table, thank god J is still to young to 'get it').
I want to get our package ready to go to Poland but realistically it may not be until after Christmas at this point.
Sunday we're going to the kid's Christmas brunch party at our Club. They have brunch and crafts and then Santa comes in on a boat to meet all the kids (like Jim and I did to our wedding reception at the same place, lol). and then they all get to sit in his lap etc. It's really cute.
I hope your LO decides to make his appearance before Christmas. Bummer about your plans not working out the way you'd hoped.
Not much planned for the weekend, I still need to pick up a few more gifts, probably leaving work early today to do that though
And T needs to do basically all his shopping for me, always waits till the last minute.
Have a little more to do for the nursery and baby clothes to wash.

Our crazy, wonderful life
Tonight - gym, pizza, movie, wrapping gifts
Tomorrow is DH's birthday. I'm going to bake him a cake during the day and maybe take him out to lunch. Tomorrow night we have to swing by one of my work Christmas parties and then it's our annual Christmas party w/ our friends. I'm already pumped. I have my white elephant gifts wrapped and my secret santa gift ready for the gift exchange that the girls do. We still need tacky sweaters.
Sunday we'll probably just relax and I intend to start getting my dough ready for my Christmas baking next week.
We are done with shopping for the kids' presents from us. Santa just needs to go shopping for stocking stuffers. Dh and I aren't exchanging gifts this year since money is tight again with me being unemployed. The important thing is that we are all happy and healthy and that the kids have a great Christmas.
Today is Tessa's 1st birthday. I can't believe she is one already. So, tonight we are going to a local farm to walk around looking at an awesome Christmas lights display and having cupcakes at home to celebrate.
Tomorrow we don't really have any plans except to see our friend and his gf. They live in FL now, he actually has the same birthday as Tessa.
Sunday DH is working in the morning. Sunday night we are going to my parents' house to celebrate Tessa's birthday and my brother's fiance's birthday with a family dinner.
We're doing a "fake Christmas" with my family this weekend (tomorrow's Christmas Eve & Sunday is Christmas Day) since we'll be spending actual Christmas with DH's family.
tonight I'm hoping to finish breaking down some old flannel pants/shirts that we're going to use for cloth wipes. I'm bringing them with me to MA to use my mom's sewing machine on the edges
. tomorrow is just general house cleaning (which is never 'just' in our house...), and then I want to make a greenery arrangement to take to ILs. We're doing the IL Christmas thing on Sunday afternoon/evening. I aslo need to make a sweet potato souffle/casserole for Sunday tomorrow.
Any extra time will be devoted to starting to gather items to pack for our trip to MA for Christmas since we leave on Thursday.
Tonight I'm babysitting my niece so my sis and BIL can go to a holiday party at a bar.
Tomorrow DH and I are attending a celebration of life for his BFF's mom who passed away due to cancer. She passed 3 weeks after she was diagnosed and had not symptoms other than a cough. Please get your annual exams
She did not.
Sunday I will be shopping. My mom lives out of state and just decided to send me cash and have be buy gifts for my niece and nephew so she didn't have to ship them. I also need to make a quilt for my nephew that I've had the material for, for months. Depending how shopping goes, he might not get the quilt til his bday in January.
Tonight: Hair appointment to cover the greys, and then baking, baking, baking!
Saturday: Physical Therapy for my knee, Christmas celebration with family friends, and then more baking
Sunday: Cookie exchange!!
I also have off on Monday, and plan to clean my closets and purge some clothes!
Tonight: Work holiday party. Should be fun
Tomorrow: Gym and hair appt. Probably Christmas shopping too.
Sunday: Cookie bake at a friend's house. More shopping if I don't get it done on Sat. We'll probably get some stuff cleaned/organized around the house to get ready for our bathroom demo. The tub and toilet get delivered next Tuesday!
