If you have a Keurig, coming in
Please tell me all about it.
What do you like about it? What don't you like about it?
Is the coffee more on the weak or strong side?
Is the coffee worth the money for the pods?
Do you use the refillable pods and if so is it worth doing that?
If you know then what you know now, would you buy one again?
Anything else I should know?
Thanks a bunch!

Re: If you have a Keurig, coming in
We don't drink coffee on a daily basis, and if/when we do drink, we don't drink multiple cups. So it's nice to be able to make a cup of coffee, tea, etc. on the fly when we want it. We don't go through a ton of K-Cups, so it's not costly for us, and I like having a variety of K-Cup options right at my fingertips.
Weak/strong is up to you and A: the kind of K-Cups you buy, and B: how you brew it. It's not a universal attribute, just like you don't get all-weak coffee or all-strong coffee from a "standard" coffee machine. It depends on the beans and the brew.
We have the refillable pod and use it a LOT because my husband makes tea frequently. We buy the regular Lipton tea bags and he uses those, which is cheaper than the tea K-Cups.
It takes up a chunk of counter space and if we had 10 people over who all wanted coffee, it would take a little while to get to each of them, but I still vastly prefer it to a standard coffee maker. My Mom, who doesn't even drink coffee, just bought a Keurig solely for the purpose of having it on hand when she entertains, which is often - all of our family functions are at her house.
What do you like about it? What don't you like about it? It's easy. I never have to throw away undrunk coffee. My husband (not a coffee drinker) uses it to make iced tea.
Is the coffee more on the weak or strong side? Depends on the type of coffee. Also mine has 3 different cup sizes so you can add 6, 8, or 10 ozs of water and that would affect the strength.
Is the coffee worth the money for the pods? It's cheaper than buying a cup of coffee anywhere, but more expensive than buying a jar of ground coffee. Still worth it though.
Do you use the refillable pods and if so is it worth doing that? I don't. I'm lazy.
If you know then what you know now, would you buy one again? Mine was a gift, but I'm glad we have it.
Anything else I should know?

I love my Keurig!!!
What do you like about it? What don't you like about it? Love everything about it. DH isn't a coffee drinker and I am, so it's great to be able to make just one cup in the morning. My parents also use it randomly during the day while they're watching DS and they're drinking fresh coffee too instead of a pot that's been sitting around all day.
Is the coffee more on the weak or strong side? Depends what kind of cups you use. On the platinum, you can also set the brew size anywhere from 4-12 oz (there's also an iced setting
- 4 oz is more of an espresso and it gets less potent from there. I usually use Donut Shop by Coffee People on a 10 or 12 oz setting and that's perfect for me.
Is the coffee worth the money for the pods? I think so. I get a 50 count box from Amazon for around $27-ish, so it works out to a little more than 0.50 a cup. Hell of a lot cheaper than Starbucks and I like it more than anything I can find in a coffee shop.
Do you use the refillable pods and if so is it worth doing that? I sometimes do this as well. It's nice to have the option. Amazon occasionally has pretty great sales on the ekobrew cup.
If you know then what you know now, would you buy one again? Yup.
Anything else I should know? If you don't get one with an auto-on timer the "cup of coffee in however many seconds" talk is sort of BS since you have to wait for it to heat up once it's turned on. Only once it's ready to brew does it kick out a cup in less than 30 seconds.

I have the smallest variety, which I got for Christmas two years ago. I keep it at my office, but only use it about once a week. I have a regular pot at home that I use on weekends and my office makes coffee every morning, so I typically drink that.
What do you like about it? What don't you like about it? I love all the fun flavors that come in a variety pack and that I can make just one cup in the afternoon if I need a pick me up. I don't like that the small variety that I have makes just BARELY an 8-ounce cup of coffee.
Is the coffee more on the weak or strong side? It's pretty regular. Everyone above is talking about the higher-end models where you can adjust the amount of water and cup size, but for the smallest one (which I'm guessing is around $100), there's only one setting. And the coffee is good enough that I don't have to drink it with milk.
Is the coffee worth the money for the pods? I think so. I ask for the variety packs for my birthday from my husband and inlaws, and they last me throughout most of the year. I got 2 60-pod variety packs and a 20-pack chai flavor in August for my birthday, and I'm not even halfway through them. If you were drinking tons of coffee, it would not be cost effective.
Do you use the refillable pods and if so is it worth doing that? n/a
If you know then what you know now, would you buy one again? Yup. I really like it for convenience.

Cooking with Crouton: A Food Blog
Let me start this by saying that I used to work for a coffee company that sold A LOT of Keurigs and k-cups. I didn't drink coffee until I started working there.
What do you like about it? What don't you like about it? I love it. It's the first coffee machine that we've owned and since DH doesn't drink coffee at all, I can make a cup before I leave for work and there's no waste or clean up.
Is the coffee more on the weak or strong side? It ultimately depends on how you brew your coffee. Like PPs said, most brewers have three cups sizes and the more water you use, the less potent the cup. However, there are some really strong k-cups out there that I never had any complaints about. If you need recs, let me know.
Is the coffee worth the money for the pods? I can't really say - I haven't paid for k-cups since I got the machine.
Do you use the refillable pods and if so is it worth doing that? I think the refillable k-cup is worth it. I don't personally use it, but I know a lot of people that have gotten their moneys worth from it. You can use any ground coffee in it, or even loose tea. Then again, my mom will just put ground coffee in a paper towel (as a filter) and brew it that way - she claims it works great.
If you know then what you know now, would you buy one again? Absolutely! Since I'm the only one that uses it, I have the smallest of the three available and it's perfect. It still does three cup sizes and doesn't take too long to heat up. If you plan to use it for company (often), I would suggest investing in one of the larger models that has a water reservoir (the little one doesn't have one at all).
Anything else I should know? Not that I can think of.
What do you like about it? Love that I don't have to brew a whole pot of coffee. DH doesn't drink coffee and I don't want to drink a whole pot, so this works. What don't you like about it? nothing really?
Is the coffee more on the weak or strong side? depends on the kcups that you get.
Is the coffee worth the money for the pods? yes, to me it is. I also have a ton of favorites to try and have for company. If I had a pot, I would only have one favorite of coffee to make.
Do you use the refillable pods and if so is it worth doing that? Nope..
If you know then what you know now, would you buy one again? yes, def.... I got mine used off Craigslist.... I would look for the bigger Keurig, as mine barely makes a 10oz cup of coffee. My parents got a nicer one that makes 12 oz. I wish I had that one but I'll live for now.
Anything else I should know? Once you find a kind of coffee you like, buy the cups in bulk at either Costco or Amazon. It will save some money.
