100% agree. And I also love Chris Christie. I just don't see a clear front-runner and it worries me.
I am so far behind. Dh and I usually have a good debate on the canidates, but smut tv series have been more intriging than reading about who is who and doing what. After Christmas I will catch up.

My husband loved Romney in the last election, but he seems to have lost his luster. I think Bachman should back down... she's not going to win the primary.I am not a fan of Santorum, Paul is a little on the wacko side to me as well... I agree with your top 3 although I am not a HUGE fan of any of them.

Anyway, the rest of the field is terrible. Mitt Romney is a disgrace to the party - even a mongoloid could see that. But, he is the anointed one this cycle - the RNC and media have decided its his turn, and that's most likely how it will turn out. The asshattery will continue with mittens in the White House.
Maybe (maybe!) if the primary system wasn't such a soup sandwich, things would be different.
Nebraskans: your primary vote doesn't count. You're one of the last 10 states to hold a primary and the winner has been chosen by then. The primary calendar and process is an abortion and the way to fix it is to hold all primaries on the same day. However, that will never happen as it hurts the ability of the national parties to control the process.

Hopefully someone comes out on top soon. I don't think I've ever been this nervous about an election year. And that says a lot. I don't think our nation can handle 4 more years of this crap.
