Crazy random things said about you
I don't know if you ladies do this but you can play along if you like.
Whats the most crazy random thing someone has said about you or to you?
Last night at the hospital the nurse picked up my hand and blurted out "aww such tiny cute fingers". Now I am worried I have the fingers of a five year old and that stupid Burger King ad is playing in my head about the small hands. Its actually kinda funny but it was a shock to hear.
Re: Crazy random things said about you
I dated a guy who had creepily small hands. They were disproportionate to the rest of his body.
I think people genearally mean it as a compliment when they say a woman has small hands or thin fingers. It's actually kind of odd how often people mention my fingers or ask if I play piano (ha!).
More often, when I'm meeting people in person for the first time, they comment on my height.
The other day, I had a big, burly biker tell me I was scary. I wasn't sure if I should be offended or thank him. I thanked him.
I've often been told I have cute toes. It's odd for me because I really don't like feet.
When I first joined, a kid from my dorm building was making attempts to hit on me, but he was really creepy. He said to me, "Your nose is so strong. I want to bite it off and chew on it."
I stopped carpooling with him that day.
I answered the phone at work the other day " Good Morning Dr. M's office, this is A. How can I help you" Before the patient said anything else she commented on how great of a phone voice I have. Doctor always says this too. I think its funny, I have a higher pitched voice and often sound "little" on the phone so I'm always shocked that people think I have such a great phone voice.
And because of this I jokingly tell E I should be a sex phone operator!
I seriously lol'ed. Who says that? Or even thinks that? Hellooooo creeper.
Uhm. All of this. Really.
I cannot stand a man's hands to be smaller than mine; it drives me bonkers. Factor in the fact that he is 6'11? yeeaaahhhh, it was one of many things that drove me away.
hahahahaha I dated an old friend a few years back that was obsessed with my feet.. I thought he was kidding for the longest time until I went to hang out with him last year as just good old friends [since we were BOTH engaged to other people at the time] and he kept saying things like, "You know you can't wear open toed pumps around me..." "Don't flaunt those sexy feet in front of me..."
uuuhhh.... I .. didn't know that... and gross... That's definitely the last time we have hung out. Line. Drawn.
I'm concerned he's going to end up cheating on his wife with someone else's feet.. >_<
I changed my name
When I turned 16 I skipped soccer practice to go get my learner's permit, and told my coach I had a doctor's appointment since we had a game coming up and couldn't have an unexcused absence. My 3 best friends at the time all played soccer with me, and he was asking them if everything was okay with me since I was going to the doctor. They started messing around with him and told him that I had a rash, which then spiraled into them each adding more and more to the story, making it worse every time. When their story finally ended, I apparently had syphillis.
My coach knew it was a joke as did most of the team, except for the one freshman girl on my team. She came up to the next morning in school (before I had any idea what happened in practice) and looked like she was going to cry, saying how sorry she was for me and that she hoped I got everything cleared up.
The haven't gotten anything crazy.
Although I think my H has the prettiest eye lashes I've ever seen. I finally told him a month ago while we were cuddling (like.... I hope our future children get your eye lashes, I think you got mine beat etc..) he def. thought it was random and kinda creepy.
I wish I had long enough fingers for someone to comment. I play piano, and I've always been frustrated with my struggle to reach an octave. I've gotten comments about my weird ape-like toes, but that's well deserved. I can't really curl them and look like an ape while trying.
Appearance wise, most people comment on my thinness. I had a Japanese woman in the clinic on be gesture while saying I give you my fat, I give you my fat. H and I still joke about that, although I think she succeeded (or I slipped into my 30s and don't have the same metabolism).
In high school, a friend's mom asked me what color dye I used since she thought it was great for my friend. I was a natural blond.
Back when I taught adults, in 1 day classes so it's not like I knew them, a few different students came up to me on break and asked outright if I had an eating disorder. One went behind my back to talk to my boss. Fvkers.
And this isn't really a comment about me, but it's a creepy attempt at a pickup. I sold my car to a girl heading off to college, and her dad was with her to help her out. I was 23. He later called and asked if they could return the car. Um, no. Then he asked if I wanted to go out sometime b/c he thought I was cute. Dude, I'm 4 years older than your daughter. Gross.
A lot of my friends tell me that before they really spoke to me/got to know me I gave off the vibe of being a huge b!tch. I think it's a mix of being a little reserved when first meeting people/if I'm not smiling I really do look angry haha..not much I can do about that! I've become more aware of it as I've gotten older and try to smile a lot more, especially in public when passing people...I don't want to look like an angry unapproachable broad all the time.
I also get comments on my ridiculously small size 5.5/6 feet all the time. All. the. time.
I too have been complimented on my hands and feet. I'm just grateful they aren't saying something along the lines of, "OMG! Your hands are so huge! Let's compare!" or, "Dude, you should keep your feet in closed off shoes, no one should ever have to see them toes." haha
I have often been told I would be one crazy drunk. I have also been told that I'm the most sober "drunk" person ever. lol
People have told me I have a nice phone voice. When I was working at Applebee's ( my frist job) I was answering To- Go calls when an executive calls and tells me he hopes they could record me for all the stores... Lol.
In Jr high, some one was making fun of me ( that happened a lot then haha) and told me I looked like a lizard because of my nose. I would really really appreciate a nose job.
Better small feet than big feet. :::::sigh::::: But; like we have a choice, right?
