I have a big ribbon bow on top. Where our tree is, the ceiling is kind of low, so my angel wouldn't fit :-( The bow looks pretty though!

I voted Star, but right now, NOTHING

Dh refused to put it on before we put it up in the house, then said he'd do it when we were done decorating. We've been done for weeks

I've never heard of anyone putting santa on top of their tree.... We have an angel, but I don't really like it... I think I'm going to buy a star after Christmas when everything is on sale...

LOL my MIL puts a Santa on top of her tree. Her tree has a lot of Santa heads on it. I will try and get a picture of it. It's a little creepy!

I've been searching for the "perfect" tree topper for 3 years, and still haven't found one that I love (that isn't $50++). I'm starting to think I'm going to have to drop some serious cash on it to get something nice.

We have a [kind of dumb looking] gold ribbon bow. Everything I've tried to put up has been too heavy and fell over, but it just hasn't been a priority to find something that I like better. Hopefully I'll come across something on clearance after Christmas.

I bought a really pretty star to go on top of the tree that was metal but it was just too heavy for the top of the tree. Now it sits on the mantle as decoration and looks nice. I ended up finding a gold star that lights up for the top of the tree that I bought last year at CVS. I think it was about $5.00 and it's really pretty. Maybe I'll take a picture of it.

I collect snowmen and probably 75% of the ornaments on my tree are snowmen so my topper is also a snowman. I wish I could find an actual tree topper but I just used a snowman decoration I had that is hollow and can sit on top. I think it looks pretty cute. I'll try to take a decent pic of it and post it.
