I'm too excited for my own good and there really isn't anything to be excited about!
What is everyone up to???
Re: YAY!! It's Friday!!
I'm headed up to Bangor tonight to get tires put on the van and am meeting a good friend for dinner. Can't wait to see her, it's been a while. I'm staying at my parent's tonight too.
Tomorrow Taylor and I are getting a haircut then we are going to spend the day with my mom finishing up Christmas shopping.
Sunday will be another quiet day at home. Probably wrapping and cleaning.
I'm slightly hungover - just enough to feel queasy and grouchy - from drinking too much wine while making Christmas cookies with friends last night! Today is our work holiday party which promises to be awkward as usual, lol.
Matt and I are supposed to go to his buddy's birthday party tonight, but he isn't feeling well so I'm not sure if we'll still go.
We got into a bit of a weird fight about me being out last night - moreso that I didn't realize how long I'd be out, and once I realized other couples were there and there was dinner, I invited him, but he felt crappy and couldn't go. I get that he was bummed and felt like I should have planned better, but I'm feeling very grumpy that I work around his schedule (his business, his son, his budget, everything) all day every day and he gets irritated when he has to RARELY work around me unexpectedly. WTF?! You work till 8 or later EVERY NIGHT, we never eat dinner before 9, we never have a weekend off together, and you are going to be irritated that I'm out past 9 ONCE a month or less?

Today: (having a baby?) Working from home, making lasagna for dinner, maybe a couple errands later today.
Tomorrow/Sunday (having a baby?) Really don't have much planned but I need to try and keep busy I think, because I feel like I've been sitting around waiting at this point and it's getting old! I'm going to try and keep busy this weekend by shopping, maybe going to a movie, doing some things around the house, baking, cooking for freezer, taking the dog for a walk, cleaning the house etc.
We don't have much planned for this weekend. I'm getting a guilt trip from my parents because they haven't seen the baby in two weeks. So we'll see them. I need to run errands and get my eyebrows waxed. That's my exciting weekend.
Ha ha, I love it!
For the most part I think we're laying low this weekend. There are a couple of things we need to pick up for the trip, and I'm not relishing the idea of going shopping the last weekend before Christmas, so maybe we'll just grab it all in Florida. Other than that, cleaning so we don't have to come home to the hovel that is currently our house and eating all of our perishables.
Today: Had my glucola test this morning, so I got to come into work late. Eli's daycare has been closed this week, so he's hanging out with my BFF today. Looking forward to hearing about their adventures! This evening we are going to a holiday party...at our car mechanics shop of all places. He's friends with my dad and puts on this big holiday bash with a band and tons of food in his freakishly clean garage. Eating a ton and getting the gifts he gives out makes me feel better after paying for pricey Volvo repairs all year! Late tonight my other bff is coming to visit for the weekend with her boyfriend.
Tomorrow: Low key morning with our visitors, then going to a housewarming party. No big plans for the afternoon/evening.
Sunday: Nothing much planned. Hanging out with our friends until they head out, then probably just a low key day at home probably with some Christmasy crafts or baking.
I will keep my fingers crossed for you, December babies seem to be awfully stubborn this year though!
Today: I took the day off from school, I'm not sleeping well at night and we have been short staffed since I started working long term so needless to say I'm WIPED out. I did groceries first thing this morning because I was up and took a nap. I am making a beef vegetable soup for dinner, a lasagna for the freezer, I have a baby appointment this afternoon.
Tomorrow: My college roommate and I will be going to visit Santa, we have done it for the last 6 years. Wrapping the last of my presents and getting ready for our holiday.
Sunday: Getting stuff brought back to my kitchen, it *should* (though I'm not holding my breath at this point) be finished this week.
Come on baby!!
Lots of errands to do. Presents are done but DD needs new dress shoes, regular groceries and Christmas day groceries. A lot of chores around the house, including putting DD's kitchen together. We've also got a b-day party tomorrow for DD's friend so that throws a minor wrench but ah well. Tomorrow starts off nice with a DH, DD and I going out for breakfast
phew I'm already tired!
tonight: starting some strawberry-infused tequila for part of a friend's gift (I'm a procrastinator)...wrapping some gifts...probably nothing else too exciting
tomorrow: working during the day and going to a family Christmas party in the evening...very oddly, we sort of discovered family I had living in Maine after we moved here...I knew of them, but had never met them...and they've invited DH and I there for a party! so, it should be fun, but probably a little stressful and awkward...
Sunday: working, hopefully not too late, so I can make some crockpot chicken for dinner
Today - The baby and I did a little shopping this morning, staying in the rest of the day. Tonight I am going to the gym!! First time in a looooong time!
Saturday - We are getting our pictures taken! The last time we had them (professionally) done was when Savannah was 3 weeks old. More gym time after that.
Sunday - I plan on going to the gym. More than likely just hanging at home watching football!
Andrea- your weekend looks like mine. Having a baby would be a nice surprise this weekend seeming I'm due Monday. I am not counting on it- but there is some progress happening. I'll spare you the details
I am in the office today- cleaned my space and finished up my to do list. I have my reappointment packet for tenure that is due in March. I had wanted to finish it before the baby got here but life got in the way. Tonight- we are going to have a date night, maybe do some shopping.
Saturday- Cooking freezer meals, making some cookies, one last sewing project.
Sunday- nothing planned.
Tonight: Wrapping all of the presents for everyone. Likely doing a load of laundry. And then cleaning the house.
Tomorrow: Traveling to my parents and then my ILs house to do Christmas with all of them. Given that the baby is practically the first grandbaby for any of our parents, I'm a lil' nervous about what they went out and bought. But time will tell!
Sunday: PACKING! And DH is doing the brakes on my car. It will likely be a low key day, but I might try and get DH to go out to dinner to use a Livingsocial before it expires. We'll see if he's up to it though.
So jealous! Say hi to W&M for me!
So glad it's Friday....I'm actually home with a sick Abby :-( We're suppose to go out to dinner with friends, polar express tomorrow, and church and a birthday party on Sunday, buuuuut we'll see how it goes.
We've been talking about "trains" for two weeks! I know she'll be disappointed...
?
With Evie I got a pedicure and went into labor that night. Pressure points didn't work so well with Sawyer but it might be worth a try!?
?Tonight: Hanging out with the babies and DH. Probably watch Fast Five.
Tomorrow: DH works all day so it is just the babies and myself so probably some house cleaning, cooking and maybe some shopping with my mom. Tomorrow night, Frosty is on so I think we will have movie night with Evie.
Sunday: No plans as of yet. Probably more relaxing and house cleaning since Christmas Eve is at my house this year since it is easier for people to come to us then to pack up the babies, gifts and food to go to moms.?
