We have our's pretty much decided:
Everhett George (Go by Rhett; George is Jeff's late dad's name, his grandpa's name and my late grandpa's name). I LOVE Rhett, as in Rhett Butler from Gone with the Wind. Yes, I am that dork. Haha!
Addison Nicole (Go by Addie; Nicole is my middle name). Jeff LOVES Addie, so I am stuck with it, but I really liked Elana (and it means Answered Prayer).
Any names for others out there for anyone, including those TTC and those even not to that point yet? Seriously, I love hearing baby names!
Re: Speaking of Names...
I love those names Danie!!
I have recently been dreaming of having a little girl so I can name her Zoey (or Zooey, or Zoe - gotta work on the spelling lol!). DH and I are pretty obsessed with that name. But, I want a boy so I can have a dinosaur-themed nursery. I think our boy would be either Zach or Travis but not really sure.
P.S. really I don't want a baby at all, but if I did the above would apply.
super cute!!! I really like Addie!
we haven't really decided on anything yet... we like Lillian but maybe more like Liliann (sami's mom and sister has middle name Ann)... we like Mack (maiden name Makuch), but not sure how to work it... maybe Maddox? we like Raine for a girl's middle name (Lorraine is my mom).
it's hard cuz we don't really want to be pressured to use family names but there are some that we like! we prob aren't going to tell anyone our final decisions (except for you ladies!) until we actually name said child!
but we are prob going to go in with a short list to the hospital and pick once we see the cute lil face!

Danie, that is so funny, I also REALLY love the nickname Addy! One week when I was sick, I got obsessed with baby names, so I now have a list, ha ha! Funny thing is, apparently I only like girl names, I cannot find a boy name that I like :P
Girls: Adalyn, Joanna, Hera (DH hates this name though)
Boys: Eliot, Caleb, Francis

Dannie - we are working George into our baby names because its DH's late father's name as well!
Danie, I love the names you've picked! I actually was considering Everett as our son's middle name and was obsessed with "Addie" as a girl's name for a while. If this baby was a girl I would have seriously considered the name Adalyn because of that. I like Addison too, I just think for me personally it wouldn't sound right with my last name.
So, I've mentioned before that we are naming our son Jack. This is after DH's uncle who passed away a couple years ago. For a middle name we are looking at "H" names in memory of my grandfather Herbert. I threw a middle name out to my family - kind of jokingly - and they loved it!
It looks like our baby's name is going to be... Jack Hendrix C.
The reasons for Hendrix are... we want kind of an edgy/unusual middle name since the baby's first and last names are both common. Plus, I grew up on Hendrix St. until I was 11, and those years were the best time in my family's life. After that point my childhood got kind of traumatic, but we all have such a positive association with the name and it has special meaning to my family. I'm not sure DH is totally on board with this yet but he likes that it's the same spelling as Jimmy Hendrix
I'm loving that you guys are using "George" in you rname choices!
Love it! That name sounds perfect for you guys! Actually, my brother (Henry) loves his unusual name! I think that is a fantastic idea!

I think your names are super cute! I love Addie
We haven't picked anything out, but names I like are:
Girls: Adalyn (I'm surprised to see 2 other ladies mention this!), Evelyn (My grandma's name, Evie for short), Emmalin(e)
Boys: Logan, Ethan, Evan, Owen....middle name will be Steven (DH's middle name and FIL's first name)
10/11: Dx PCOS, 2000mg Metformin

We have still not sat down and fully discussed what we are naming this little guy, but in casual conversation we have considered...
Bradley, Jacob, Justin, and Hunter.
Our last name is a really difficult name to sound good with so some of the names that I would have liked just don't work....
I'm loving all the names ladies!
If anyone is looking for girl names, you have my permission to steal mine:
Hannah Elizabeth
It looks more and more like we are having an only child and this was the only girl name we could agree on. I just love the name Hannah for some reason.
We agreed to have one (planned) kid, so I don't want to be pressured to make everyone happy using family names. Plus, I have TOO many people in my family with the same name, it's a little ridiculous. Anyway...
Boy - Ryan for SURE (open to middle name ideas when the time comes)
Girl - Not convinced on anything yet but I like Charlotte, Victoria, and I like Grace as a middle name. I feel like our last name can be kind of hard to match with?
Danie, now I know why I love you so... MY middle name is Nicole! Rock on, LOL!
If Milo had been a girl, it was very likely he would have been Sophie Nicole. I wasn't so psyched to see how popular Sophie/Sophia is these days, but I just simply adore the name.
So, I have never talked to anyone about our name ideas... I'm afraid to but dying to at the same time, so here goes! We might still have another one, and who knows, if it happens, by then our minds might have changed, but here's where we were thinking this past spring:
Second in contention for boy's names was Oliver, though DH likes that name way more than I do (I was pretty set that it would be Milo no matter what, and I think Milo was well above Oliver on DH's list too). But right now, I am hooked on Quentin if we have a second boy. Don't know why, but I just think it is the coolest name, quirky and unusual, but strong, and not a bad sibset for Milo.
BTW, Lori, I LOVE Hendrix for a middle name...

!
If we were to have a girl, our other, and I think stronger contender was Gwendolyn/Gwen. Love the name, but also the fact that it's the name of a main character in the computer game that DH and I play together. Talk about being "that dork", LOL.
PS. You should have seen DH and I the night Milo was born... wracking our brains to decide on middle names because we hadn't finished deciding yet when I went into labor super early!

You would only be "that dork" if you named a second boy Otis! Haha!
Love all you have in mind though!
Too true, LOL... OMG I couldn't do that! Maybe I'll get a puppy...

For a girl, I have liked Holly for a long time, but I'm starting to like Hailey/Haleigh more now. I also love the names Sophia and Grace. Her middle name will be Marie which is my middle name.
I don't really have a boy's name that I love. DH likes Sean/Shawn Alexander, but I am not digging that at all. Ideally I would like to use DHs middle name (Anthony) for our son, but he's not big on that.
I literally LOLed at this!
