Gifts for FIL & BIL
That's who DH and I drew for names in our gift exchange with my IL's. The two hardest people to buy for. I realize you guys don't know them, but anyone have any ideas? We have a $100 limit and a maximum of half of that can be a gift card if you do gift cards. They are both kind of "manly" men. BIL is a power engineer at a gas plant. FIL used to work on the oil rigs and does glass installation now with his BIL.

any hobbies? interests? sports teams?
We got a sleeping bag for FIL this year.. He goes camping several times a year and is apparently still using the sleeping bags from when the kids were little. SILS and BIL are supposedly also getting him sleeping bags so he has a full set.
We get BIL books pretty much every year.
Some other ideas might be a digital camera, flying lesson (that's what I got M!), set of favorite tv show DVDs, something related to a food obsession (my youngest brother LOVES bacon, so he's getting bacon popcorn, bandaids, and bacon salt lol), something related to a sports obsession.
BIL is big into hockey and sports in general. Not sure about favourite teams.
FIL mostly just does work around their house/farm when he isn't working I think. And is super uber Catholic religious.
Last year I drew BIL's name as well. We got him the box set of Seinfeld DVD's and the book World Without End. So trying to do something a bit different this year.

Does FIL have a good swiss army knife/multitool?? that could be handy around the house/farm?

I thought of that too, but didn't know if tickets could go for under $100 for 2! They are SO expensive anymore!
The other hockey related thought I had was seeing if the cable station has a hockey package you could get for him so he could see all the games his heart desires? Again..don't know cost!
Definitely couldn't get 2 tickets for under $100. Tickets are about $100 a piece. So I thought about getting BIL and FIL tickets to go together, but I don't think it would really be FIL's cup of tea (so to speak).
The cable package thing is a good idea....I'll mention that to DH.
Down here, sports fans love to wear jerseys of their favorite players. Also, they have jerseys you can personalize. For example, a couple of years ago, I bought J a jersey with his last name and his favorite number on it.
How old is your BIL?
If you can somehow figure out his favorite team, you can maybe get a jersey or some sports memorabilia thing. Ohhh one thing that J and I both loved was these freezeable mugs with your favorite team on it. Good for keeping things cold, beer, soda, etc... in the summer. Or a blanket with his favorite team on it... does he play video games at all? Also, it may sound boring but one thing a lot of men dont buy for themselves is things like pajamas. I used to get J (or have someone in my family get) a pair of pj bottoms... again sports ones so they're manly...
If he plays video games, like xbox and stuff, I have other ideas... NHL hockey or something... does BIL have a wife... usually wives have great ideas....
Do either of them wear watches? A new watch...
