my temp at work

I believe I posted about this genius before, but basically she's a walking disaster and I had a very difficult time training her because she just didn't get it.  She was (and still is from what I hear) mucking things up that took me my entire time there before leave to straighten out.  That is, when she's not sending 3/4 of the work to my counterpart in another office.

So anyway, for those that aren't my FB friend, I was doing a little snooping out of curiosity.  Because these days, everyone has a Facebook for the most part. And naturally, this Nobel Prize winner's profile is public.  So I scrolled back to see if she had anything to say about her new job.  I found this little gem from her first week: (I added the extra t in BS.  She certainly knows how to spell that!)

Corporate bullshitt sucks ... Prego, pig face f@#$ (sorry had to write that) already threw me under the bus - WTF ... graciously I march myself into the big boss and said - Oh, there must have been some misunderstanding - he knew it wasn't me and got the point I was trying to make !

I am not surprised and not really all that offended because really, what does it matter what she thinks, but wow!  Talk about hostility.

Re: my temp at work

  • this was the late and stinky smoker, right?

how rude...... well she is gone once you get back, isn't she?  sometimes its better to ignore work when you aren't there.  being 1/2 in touch was infuriating to me most of the time, but i needed to make sure my clients were all set and do some business development.

  • I know its petty, but with the mood I am in today, I would friend request her and comment on it.

  • I'd print that shiit and forward it to her temp agency.

In addition to being incredibly insulting it's 100% unprofessional.

  • I would 110% be saving that and using it to stop her from filling in at your company (and others) ever again.  Wow.  She's really classy.
  • That is ridiculous.  Ditto others, you should definitely save for future reference.
  • revenge! revenge! revenge!

    print and send!

  • Please say you've let someone related to her staffing know about this.

  • I have taken your advice and taken a screen shot. Yet I have a dilemma. Well I have two actually.

First wouldn't I come off as a huge stalker if I report this? I had no reason to search for her other than plain old curiosity. I don't want to seem like a tattletale.

Second, perhaps I'm a sucker, but this woman has a daughter and has been out of work for quite some time before scoring this temp gig. I sort of feel like an awful person for reporting her. Oh and I should mention that she's a single mom.

Knowing all of this, would you still report her?

No, only because of the bold part. However, it angers me that for someone who is a single mom, struggling to find work, that she would be so incredibly stupid to post on facebook like that. Do you run into her when you go back? I'd honestly have to say a few words to her that she should really be careful about who she talks about online if she wants to keep finding jobs.
