I had Xmas in Seattle

soooooooo..... (big dramatic pause)

I went on vacay last week with BF and DS and we went to Seattle (my brother lives there). We really did have a great time, despite the fact that I spent gobbs of money! We did so much, I cant even remember it all! We did the underground tour (a tour of the original Seattle which was highly educational and entertaining), we did the duck tour (amphibious vehicle that tours the city's landmarks + goes out on one of the lakes). We went to Snoqualmie mountain area and went tubing. I was a total dork and tried to stand in front of my BFs tube to help "stop it" at the end of the hill and totally ate snow! We did our family xmas and we all did a secret santa type of deal which worked out great. We toured the popular "Pikes Market" and because my brother works for Boeing, we did a Boeing factory tour too. We finished with a tour of the RedHook Brewery which is basically a room where the bartender is your tourguide and you pay $1 to basically sample all the beers they make and take an oversized shot glass home.  All awesome fun. I took tons of pictures.

  • Sounds like a blast!  I totally forgot about the underground tour, I remember it being so different than any other touristy thing I had done.  My DH would have loved the Boeing tour.
