i had *SUCH* a shtty day yesterday. i'm just glad it's over! and now it's friday! and the weekend is right around the corner! life is good!
my friend is coming in today, and i have a dr appt, and a follow up appt for hercules. then seattle tourist for the weekend. weee!

Happy Friday, ladies!
Today has already been a pretty good day for me, and I hope it will continue to get better. I just wish I wasn't sick! The cold is mild (bad cough, stuffed up head) but it definitely sucks. H has the day off today because his company is moving offices, so we get to skip out and head up to Napa around lunch today to beat traffic, so I'm excited! We're going to dinner tomorrow at French Laundry so I just hope this cold doesn't make it so I can't taste the food, because getting a reservation there is SOOO difficult and I have wanted to go for 2 1/2 years. This is pretty much our Christmas gift to each other.
Before we go to Napa I need to finish up our Christmas cards and run a few errands... but hoping to get on the road by around 2 PM. We will see!

Yesterday evening - DH and I found out that his brother(in-law) and sister-in-law hope to have a baby, early July. Pretty excited about being an Auntie again!
Today - I clean MILs house like every Friday. Hopefully this afternoon I'll get some goodies baked for Christmas.
Tomorrow- I plan to help FIL decorate Christmas cookies in the morning. In the afternoon we have to go do groceries and DH needs to find a gift for his brother.

Ahhhh so happy to see Friday roll in. This week has been nuts.
H is off again today, so I'm meeting him on my lunch to finish up shopping for the nieces and nephews so he can ship off the gifts. We have his work holiday party tonight. I'm using it as an excuse to go try out the Obadiah blow dry bar for a blowout after work.
Tomorrow morning, I have a cookie baking party planned with the college girls at church. We are going to the symphony to hear Messiah at Benaroya with my family tomorrow afternoon (BabyA, you're going to that too right?). I've never been but my parents love it and go every year. I'm stoked they decided to take the whole family this year.
Sunday, I'm running the Kirkland Christmas 12k! I'm not as prepared for it as I'd like to be, but I'll give it my best shot. It was a really fun race last year.

I'm sick
I got that feeling in my throat yesterday and hoped beyond hoping it wasn't a cold. But it is. On the bright side, I guess I'll be better by Christmas?
I went with H to his last interview dinner in Seattle, only to come out to the car afterwards with a dead battery! Seriously?! This has never happened before. We got a jump and drove straight to my parents house to get one of their cars for H to use in the morning (didn't turn our car off) and then drove to our mechanic. They have a key drop off, so we did that. The second I turned the car off it wouldn't turn back on, so I'm glad we took it or else H would be dealing with it again this morning. Ugh.

Hooray for Friday!!!! Tillman is wearing his "ugly sweater" to school today. I bought a red fleece shirt and put Christmas stickers on it. That way he can still use it afterwards. So, I'm only out the $4.50 for the stickers.
I decided to not get James any cologne for Christmas. I have already spent way too much on him. So, I think I am officially done with all Christmas shopping. I have thought I was done for a while, but I just keep buying stuff. I need to stop it!
I had a semi "personal" dream about one of James's co-workers last night. I woke up feeling very self-confident.
Tillman has earned 20 stars on his chart, so he gets to pick where we go to dinner tonight. He has chosen Chuck E Cheese. I am praying it's not a zoo...maybe if we go early enough.
Tomorrow we are going to the symphony and I'm super excited.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
Good morning! I am very excited it is Friday!! Today was the first day I slept past 3am in a week. I think I slept for almost 9 hours, soooo needed. I hope to get some errands done on my way to work today and then DH and I are going to walk to a place by our house that just remodeled and added a bar for a late night HH.
Tomorrow day is Santarchy - a Santa pub crawl around Seattle I am so excited for it! I bought a bunch of candy and toys to hand out. Tomorrow night is a friends 30th Bday at a club downtown. IIt will be a bunch of old friends and should be good times.
Sunday a friend is coming over to watch the Hawks so we can meet his lil baby. She looks so adorable! I want to hug her... Later that day some Xmas shopping and more drinks with friends. Finally that night my cousin and his wife get in from Texas, they are staging with us for the holidays. I don't see them often so I am looking forward to it.

I'm working out with my trainer at 11 and then we're doing lunch and a little window shopping. It's so nice to get out of the house and spend some time with a friend. I really miss my friends and family from NC. I'll be happy to see them in a week!
Tomorrow morning, H and I are boxing, then relaxing until his work Christmas party, which I'm excited to get all gussied up for.
Sunday, we don't have anything planned, but we might go see a movie.
As of yesterday, I'm FINALLY feeling in a Christmas mood...and with only a week to go, now I don't have time to do some of my usual activities like go all over the willy-nilly place to find our new ornaments for the year. (Usually, H, I, and kitteh each get a new ornament.) Or much baking done. We're still not quite done with decorating and I still have presents left to THINK of!
Tonight is H's company's holiday party over at the Bellevue Art Museum and I get to go. Except I realized I brought clothes to change into and forgot a thong and don't want panty lines around his coworkers!
Still trying to figure out our Water Heater sitation, and that will be a big part of the weekend. Saturday I'm getting a cavity filled and then since I'll be in Ballard, will get some errands run like going to my favorite bead store. Hoping maybe we'll use the Improv tickets I have that expire at the end of the year. Sunday, I'm going to visit my sister to meet her new little kittens before they're not kittens anymore. They're about 5 months old.

We're using a Groupon for dinner tonight and I'm leary it's going to suck. The reviews on the place have gone way down hill since the Groupon came out. Oh well, I don't want to waste it.
I'm headed out in a bit to deliver the gifts we got for our adopted family.
Otherwise - nothing on the agenda for this weekend, and I kind of like it that way!
