Reading this quote on FB: Never say goodbye if you still want to try. Never give up if you still feel you can go on. Never say you do not love a person if you can't let go.

And hearing this song on Pandora today:
Love is Not a Fight
Love is not a place
to come and go as we please
It's a house we enter in
then commit to never leave
So lock the door behind you
Throw away the key
Work it out together
Let it bring us to our knees
Love is a shelter
in a raging storm
Love is peace
in the middle of a war
If we try to leave;
May God send angels to guard the door
No, Love is not a fight
but its something worth fighting for
Some love is a word
that they can fall into.
But when they're falling out
keeping that word is hard to do
Love is a shelter
in a raging storm
Love is peace
in the middle of a war
If we try to leave;
May God send angels to guard the door
No, Love is not a fight
but its something worth fighting for
Love will come to save us
If we'll only call
He will ask nothing from us
but demand we give our all
Love is a shelter
in a raging storm
Love is peace
in the middle of a war
If we try to leave;
May God send angels to guard the door
No, Love is not a fight
but its something worth fighting for
I am really second guessing myself. Did I try hard enough? Did I move out too soon? Should I have stayed single and hoped for reconciliation? Oh and btw I bought my ex a gift from DS. A Bears shirt for DS to wear since Daddy is a Bears fan.

Re: Second guessing myself
Lol. I really enjoy the hell out of you.
Dmds, you ARE a mess. C'mon. Everyone second guesses, but you know you're better off without him.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
Agreed. Oh, and you have NO business being in a relationship right now if this is how you feel.
Please, take a page out of CLW's play book.

Much too late to be second guessing this! Once you made the decision to date someone new, there is just no going back as you tarnish and left the first relationship.
Now, you may have regrets but you can not take back what you did as it is done. You can only move forward at this point since you already made it loud and clear you are done with the first one with your behavior.
Um, yeah ...
You need to stop dwelling on that past. It's PAST. It's over and done. You need to take care of you and your ds and move on.

I think you should continue to second guess yourself. You do not have a good track record for making the best decisions for yourself.
This.
And This.
I second this!
I second this!
