Christmas Surprise...
Ok - so here's the background... I am 100% team green. DH is about 5%. At the last ultra sound he was going ape sh*t with the begging and pleading to let him find out the sex. I kept telling him no. He bribed me with a trip to the local jeweler and I about caved... but then they couldn't tell (ha!)...
So today as I sit here thinking, gee he'd be super SUPER excited on Christmas morning if I gave him a card with the sex in it without him knowing that I had another ultra sound. Sooo i call the office just to see if they have an appt next week as I do need a rescan as they couldn't see a few things in the last one. And yes, they do. So I go the 22nd at 4pm, i'll go, armed with a Christmas card for Sami that will be written in last by the u/s tech (hopefully she'll include a photo that Sami will have to hide REAL good) and sealed til the morning of the 25th.
The only one I told is my sister Heidi who lives with us. And of course she's like, ya know he's going to need to tell SOMEONE and i'm the obv choice... haha - so we'll see. Uh - duh - and you guys know now too, but NO ASKING Sami! LOL not that i think you would... right??? hehe

LOL - yeah i'm hoping he understands HOW BADLY i DON'T want to know. a bump poster suggested coming up with a nickname and gender to call the baby, as Sami has already being saying "he" all the time.
Hopefully he can keep it a secret. I will resort to violence if he did let it slip. lol
I have faith that he will keep it a secret as he knows how much it means to me... i think...

Agreed! I would NEVER be able to hold out as long as you, especially with Sami knowing. But that is awesome and a very special thing to do for him!!!
