You know you hang around on TIP too much
When you have dreams about it.
Wednesday night I dreamed I was shopping at a mall. I walked into Payless Shoe Source, and apparently there was a TIP reg meeting going on. Why it was at Payless, I really couldn't tell you. And I've never seen anyone's pictures on here except HS and Gault. So there I am, standing there and BBE, HS, Fuss, Motzie, Smock, Betty, and Muddled were sitting on the benches having this meeting. I didn't know who any of them were until imoan came in wearing a hat that said IMOAN in big letters on it. So that's how I figured out who everyone was. By imoan wearing a hat with her screen name on it.
I'm pretty sure I laughed out loud in my sleep. I'm still trying to figure out why there was a TIP meeting going on.
Oh, FFS.

That's awesome! I am too dead tired these days to have any dreams that I remember, but every time I see (or cook) Bacon I think of TIP.

Is "IMOAN" in a Bedazzled-style of glitter and rhinestones, as it was in the dream?
And I still want to know why this TIP convention was in the Payless, rather than, you know, like a restaurant or something. At least someplace that serves wine.
You've clearly never had our (patent-pending) TIP shoe-wine!
I have a soft-spot for glitter, so... most likely.
That's why the dream wasn't realistic. I would totally wear the hat, but I, too, wouldn't be at a place that didn't server some sort of alcoholic beverage.

Actually, that is sort of what I look like. With straight hair. And less pretty. More like a troll.
The funny thing about this was that at our TIP GTG last year, we were all calling each other by our S/Ns instead of real names. It was kind of funny, but also felt more "natural" since that's what we were already used to referring to each other as!
