I'm Board
Did anyone have any Thanksgiving family drama? Ours was pretty mellow. My in-laws were pretty much the best house guests you could ask for. They used to own a construction company, and decided to fix EVERYTHING around our house right down to putting up sheet rock walls in our garage, and cleaning our our pantry
The only semi-drama was that they showed up 2 days before we expected them, so I did a little scrambling to get ready for them.

2 days early? I would go crazy! At least all the home-improvements more than make up for it.
Our Thanksgiving was as expected... DH had a horrible stomach upset that kept him up all of Wednesday night, we went to a restaurant with my family and the food was really bad (I know restaurant food on holidays is never great, but this place was relatively expensive so I thought it should have been passable at least), and the whole thing ended in a large dispute. Considering the current family situation, this was pretty much in line with my expectations, but I can't say I'm looking forward to doing it again for Christmas!
Thanksgiving was rough for us! My hormones were waaaaay off, and I was this sort of numb/weepy version of myself. Any other time wouldn't have been an issue because I could call my doctor and ask for input, but being the holidays, all I could do was wait it out. On top of that, ugh, I just didn't have an apetite. I literally picked at my dinner.. ON THANKSGIVING!! So I hear ya Tem on bad food. I felt bad for Dh b/c it was at his parents' house, and I had no personality!
Holidays can be so crazy!
