when they said parents were participating I didn't realize that's what it would mean. EW. Now way would I be a participating parent.

Seriously, that was VERY disturbing. I don't remember ever kissing my parents on the lips as a child. I sure as hell wouldn't do it as an adult.
I'm surprised the parents went along with it. Super gross!!!

Yeah it was on P&CE. It is disgusting. And potentially traumatic to the kids. Can you imagine thinking you are kissing some hot mystery person and it's your parent? EW!
What if they used tongue?
And the mother who put her son's hand on her butt!?!
It's humiliating for the kids and disgusting crossing of boundaries.
ETA - I kiss Maddie on the lips all the time. In my family we all kissed each other on the mouth. But we didn't hold the other person's face in a soap opera embrace and give long lingering romantic kisses. We did pecks. Closed mouth super fast smooches. BIG difference!
